    摘要： An image processing apparatus comprises a first storage area that stores in itself original data to be copied; a copier that copies the original data to a second storage area that is shared and allowed to be accessed by a plurality of users belonging to one same group, by storing reference information pointing to the original data stored in the first storage area, in the second storage area; a judger that judges whether or not all of access judgment target users who are the group users sharing the second storage area or preliminarily specified users, make access to the reference information stored by the copier in the second storage area; and a controller that suspends execution of an instruction given to change the original data for the access judgment target users so that the original data could be provided to all of them, if the judger judges that only some of the access judgment target users has made access to the reference information when the instruction to change the original data is given, and then, cancels the suspension after the original data is provided to all of the access judgment target users.

    摘要： The present invention is intended to reduce operation load of a responsible person corresponding to external address for transmission of an e-mail to the external address. In order to accomplish this, an e-mail transmission device transmits an e-mail based on an operation made by a user, comprising: a storage part for storing therein a destination address registration information in which a destination address of the e-mail, an address type information in which either of internal address or external address is registered as type of the destination address, and an address responsible for external address registered if the address type registered in the address type information is external address are associated with each other; and a transmission part for transmitting the e-mail to the destination address designated by the user from a plurality of destination addresses included in the destination address registration information. When the address type registered in the address type information associated with the designated destination address is external address, the transmission part reads the address responsible for external address associated with the designated destination address, creates the e-mail in which the address responsible for external address is set for a source address field and a return address field, and transmits the e-mail thereby created to the designated destination address.

    摘要： An image processing system is provided that is capable of performing copying processes by connecting devices which specifications for processing image data are mutually different. In an image processing system comprised of an image reading device for optically reading original documents and converting these into electronic image data and a printing device for printing image data that have been received from the image reading device onto recording media, image processing circuits for processing image data in accordance with specified specifications are respectively incorporated into the scanning device and the printing device, and a device that may be set in accordance with specifications for processing image data based on given circuit arrangement information is used to comprise at least a part of either one of the image processing circuits of these devices. By setting the image processing circuit in accordance with specifications for processing image data on the basis of specification information of the image processing circuit of the opposing device, it is enabled to connect scanning devices and printing devices that are of mutually different specifications.

    摘要： In an image processing circuit, an area determination section comprises a device having a rewritable circuit configuration such as a field programmable gate array (FPGA). Consequently, the circuit configuration of the area determination section is rewritten, so that the image processing algorithm is changed. Specifically, in the area determination section, a filtering circuit and line memories (for example, FIFO memories) for forming a pixel matrix are formed by using the FPGA, and the configuration of the line memories (the lateral size and the number of lines) and the configuration of the filtering circuit are changed in accordance with a set image processing condition such as the output size or the mode.
