    摘要: In a method for matching a transmission/reception antenna in a nuclear magnetic resonance imaging apparatus to the impedance of a high-frequency system which feeds the antenna, a directional coupler is used for acquiring respective signals corresponding to a forward voltage wave supplied to the antenna, and the associated return voltage wave. The amplitudes of the forward and return waves are calculated in a controller for all matching conditions of a transformation network, the transformation network being interconnected between the high frequency system and the antenna. When a tomogram is to be produced, the transformation network is set so that the antenna is matched as best as is possible to the high-frequency system. The same method can be used for matching an antenna which is only used for reception when producing tomograms.

The high frequency excitation field is configured to excite an object to be examined in the examination volume, such that the object emits magnetic resonance signals. The basic magnet is configured to generate a basic magnetic field (B0) in the examination volume that is constant over time and at least substantially homogeneous spatially. The send structure includes at least first transmitting antennae and second transmitting antennae that are configured to load the examination volume with the high frequency excitation field (B1).

In at least one embodiment, the second part is of dimensionally stable design and has a clear cross section that is adapted to the object to be examined. Consequently, the time outlay for applying the RF antenna is reduced, and the fixed position of the RF antenna enables a correction of the attenuation of gamma rays. Furthermore, a number of second parts having various diameters can be provided.

The MRT system includes a controller configured to store a transmit vector that is established on a local-coil-specific basis. The transmit vector, for a specific local coil, indicates with which amplitudes and phases, transmit elements of the local coil may be controlled by a transmit device. The controller is configured to initiate a patient-specific calibration measurement on a patient to generate patient-specific calibration data representing a field distribution. The controller is also configured to determine deviations in the patient-specific calibration data from the stored transmit vector established on a local-coil-specific basis. The patient-specific calibration data is generated in the patient-specific calibration measurement on the patient and represents a field distribution. An imaging MRT measurement is not allowed if deviations exceed a threshold value, but is otherwise performed and is monitored by a monitoring device.
