The container member includes a rigid base plate supporting the inflator and the air bag, covering one part of the non-deployment side of the air bag, and supporting a reaction force of the air bag at a deployment of the air bag, and a flexible panel including a connecting portion connected with the base plate, covering the other part of the non-deployment side of the air bag, and being arranged to restrict inflation of the air bag on the non-deployment side at the deployment of the air bag.

    摘要: A curtain air bag formed so that an auxiliary inflatable chamber adapted to reduce to as great an extent as possible a substantial decrease in a protective region of an air bag body 1 can be formed. The air bag body 1 is deployed into the interior of an automobile 8 by introducing a high-pressure gas, which is ejected from an inflator at the time of the occurrence of collision of the automobile 8 with something, into the interior of the air bag body. An auxiliary inflatable chamber 5 defined with respect to a main inflatable chamber 3 is obtained by sewing the air bag body by a substantially one sewing line using a multi-thread chain stitch method or the like. The auxiliary and main inflatable chambers 5, 3 are communicated with each other via a narrow orifice type gas flow restriction passage 6.

    摘要: A solder for filling or padding operations on automobile bodies, consisting essentially of 2.0-7.0 Wt% antimony, optionally less than 5.0 Wt% of tin and the balance of lead. This solder is inexpensive and exhibits good physical properties at high temperatures principally due to its high solidus temperature of above 240.degree. C. The use of this solder is particularly advantageous when the filling or padding operations are preparatory to a surface coating operation in which a high baking temperature is employed for hardening enamel paint or varnish.
