    摘要: The present disclosure relates to nucleobase editors and methods of use thereof. Disclosed herein are fusion proteins, systems, and compositions for editing disease-associated mutations and methods of use thereof. In some aspects, disclosed herein is a fusion protein comprising a Cas9 nickase and a nucleotide deaminase, wherein the Cas9 nickase comprises a first amino acid substitution at a position selected from the group consisting of 262, 324, 409, 480, 543, 694, and 1219 when compared to SEQ ID NO: 11, and wherein the Cas9 nickase comprises a second amino acid substitution at a position selected from the group consisting of 1111, 1135, 1218, 1219, 1322, 1335, and 1337 when compared to SEQ ID NO: 11.

    摘要: A multiband antenna comprises a dielectric substrate with a first surface defining an annular ledge and a central recess with a plurality of pockets. A MIMO radiator body is disposed in the central recess having a first surface defining a plurality of lobes which are disposed in respective ones of the plurality of pockets and having a second surface defining an outer rim and a central shelf A radiator ring is disposed at the annular ledge so that the radiator ring and the outer rim converge along an annular gap therebetween. A plurality of MIMO feed lines provide external connection to respective lobes. The MIMO radiator body and the radiator ring provide a substantially horizontally-directed radiation pattern (e.g., for terrestrial signals). At least one low-profile radiator on the central shelf provides a substantially circularly polarized or vertically-directed radiation pattern for receiving signals radiated from a satellite.

    摘要: Water permeable membranes and methods of preparation are described. The water permeable membrane can comprise a porous support, and a polyamide layer comprising a crosslinked polyamide on a surface of the porous support, wherein the polyamide layer further comprises nanoparticles and a hydrophilic additive, and wherein the hydrophilic additive covalently bonds to the crosslinked polyamide. The crosslinked polyamide can be interfacially polymerized on the porous support. Methods for desalinating water, performing dialysis, or performing pervaporation using the water permeable membranes are disclosed.

    摘要: A system and method are provided for monitoring body kinematics. A wearable coil configuration of the system comprises at least first and second electrically-conductive coils adapted to be secured to a subject in a predetermined spatial relationship and orientation relative to one another. The first coil acts as a first transmitter and generates a first magnetic flux when a first electrical current is passed through it. The second coil acts as a receiver. The first magnetic flux induces a first electrical current or voltage in the second coil. A measurement instrument of the system is configured to measure the first electrical current or voltage and to output a first measurement signal. A processor, which may be part of, or external to, the system is configured to execute a motion monitoring algorithm that processes at least the measurement signal to determine at least a first motion made by the subject.

    摘要: Disclosed herein are photoisomerized compositions comprising anthocyanins and methods of making an use thereof. For example, disclosed herein are methods of photoisomerizing a composition, the methods comprising: irradiating a composition comprising an anthocyanin dissolved in a solvent solution with UV light; wherein at least a portion of the anthocyanin is present as a trans isomer before the irradiation; wherein the solvent solution comprises ethanol and water in a ratio of ethanol to water (volume/volume) of 99:1 to 70:30; thereby converting at least a portion of trans isomer to a cis isomer via photoisomerization to produce a photoisomerized composition. In some examples, the photoisomerized composition has a more intense and stable blue color at pH 8 relative to the composition before irradiation.
