摘要: An analyte meter having a test strip ejector. The analyte meter includes a housing body including a front side, a back side, a first side, a second side, an end, and a test strip port at the end configured to receive a test strip; and a strip ejector configured to eject the test strip from the test strip port. The test strip ejector includes a slide member slidable relative to the housing body, an engagement member coupled to the slide member and configured to be contacted by a user, the engagement member located on the back side of the housing body opposite then display screen, and a push member coupled to the slide member and positioned to be engageable with the end of the test strip. Test strip ejectors and methods of ejecting test strips are provided, as are numerous other aspects.

摘要: This seal structure of a cold storage comprises: a long member that has a magnetic portion configured from a magnetic material; and packing having a magnet that attracts and is attracted by the magnetic portion, a holding portion that holds the magnet, and a sealing portion that comes into close contact with the long member at a position further inward or outward of a cooling chamber than the holding portion when the cooling chamber is sealed, the packing increasing the distance between one portion of the magnet and the long member prior to increasing the distance between the other portion of the magnet and the long member during separation from the long member.

摘要: The present invention provides a microorganism-derived soluble coenzyme-binding glucose dehydrogenase which catalyzes a reaction for oxidizing glucose in the presence of an electron acceptor, has an activity to maltose as low as 5% or less, and is inhibited by 1,10-phenanthroline. The invention also provides a method for producing the coenzyme-binding glucose dehydrogenase, and a method and a reagent for measuring employing the coenzyme-binding glucose dehydrogenase. According to the invention, the coenzyme-binding glucose dehydrogenase can be applied to an industrial field, and a use becomes possible also in a material production or analysis including a method for measuring or eliminating glucose in a sample using the coenzyme-binding glucose dehydrogenase as well as a method for producing an organic compound. It became also possible to provide a glucose sensor capable of accurately measuring a blood sugar level. Therefore, it became possible to provide an enzyme having a high utility, such as an ability of being used for modifying a material in the fields of pharmaceuticals, clinical studies and food products.

摘要: A pharmaceutical cartridge holding unit holds a pharmaceutical cartridge and is mounted to a pharmaceutical injection device main body in order to mount the pharmaceutical cartridge to a pharmaceutical injection device. The pharmaceutical cartridge holding unit comprises an outer peripheral cap having a front end side opening and a rear end side opening, and a cartridge cover that is on an inside of the outer peripheral cap and is held in a state of being able to slide forward and backward with respect to the outer peripheral cap. The outer peripheral cap has a guide component configured to guide sliding of the cartridge cover forward and backward, a stopper configured to prevent the cartridge cover from coming loose from the outer peripheral cap, and an engagement component that can engage with the pharmaceutical injection device main body.
