Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to antenna design for Installation on small cell base stations. The antenna design corresponds to a conformal antenna design that fits into a traditional sun-shield of an outdoor base station. In another aspect, the antenna design supports multiple hands and multiple technologies. In a further aspect the antenna design provides a gain pattern that allows installation of the small cells into directional sectors to further enhance the spectral efficiency while providing a single installation location. In still a further aspect, the design permits the form factor of the base station to meet unique and desirable aesthetic principals such as a modem curved surface and an attractive and distinctive height, width and depth ratio.
Abstract:
A coupling is provided for coupling non-adjacent resonators of a radio frequency filter. The coupling joins together non-adjacent resonators with a metal strip. The metal strip is physically connected to but electrically isolated from resonators located between the connected non-adjacent resonators. The metal strips include tabs the length of which may be varied. The coupling works with different resonator configurations including horizontally aligned resonators. The coupling allows for the jumping of an even number of resonators can produce zeros at high and low bands. A single coupling of this configuration enables two negative couplings.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a reflector for an antenna comprising a first reflector assembly and at least one second reflector assembly, the first reflector assembly having a first reflector structure adapted for a first antenna frequency band ƒ1 and at least one second antenna frequency band ƒ2; the at least one second reflector assembly having a second reflector structure adapted for the first antenna frequency band ƒ1 and at least one third antenna frequency band ƒ3; and wherein the first reflector assembly and the at least one second reflector assembly are electrically coupled so that the first reflector assembly and the at least one second reflector assembly together form a common reflector structure adapted for the first ƒ1, at least one second and at least one third ƒ3 antenna frequency bands. Furthermore, the invention also relates to a multi band antenna comprising at least one such reflector.
