    摘要： A filter cartridge includes a substantially cylindrical filter media having a first end and a second end wherein the second end has an opening adaptable to receive a fluid outlet. The filter media is adapted to allow fluid to pass from an exterior of the filter media to an interior space of the filter media. A divider is positioned adjacent to the exterior of the filter media, and the divider has a closed end connected to the first end of the filter media and an open end that is longitudinally-spaced from the second end of the filter media such that at least a portion of the filter media located adjacent to the second end of the filter media is not directly adjacent to the divider. The divider extends a majority of the distance from the first end to the second end of the filter media.

    摘要： A unitary temperature control bypass and fuel filtering device for an engine for heating fuel in the fuel filter. The device has an entry passage for receiving excess fuel from the engine, a first outlet passage for communicating with the fuel tank and a second outlet passage directing heated fuel into the fuel filtering device and then terminating in the first outlet passage. A central chamber communicating with the entry and outlet passages is centrally located between the passages and has a piston therein having reciprocal movement between the outlet passages for selectively blocking one of the outlet passages, wherein the piston is responsive to the fuel temperature in the filtering device.

The fluid filter assembly of the present invention provides a vertical, transparent housing having a fluid inlet for communicating a fluid into the housing and a fluid outlet for communicating fluid downstream of the housing. An electric solenoid is energized along with the ignition system to retract the lock member and allow the parking brakes to be released. The preferred device also includes a timer apparatus that requires the parking brakes to be released according to a predetermined timing sequence in order to substantially prevent theft of the vehicle.

    摘要： A fluid filter includes a vertical housing, a filter cartridge, and a bypass valve. The housing has a fluid inlet for communicating a fluid into the housing and a fluid outlet for communicating fluid downstream of the housing. The filter cartridge is disposed within the housing between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet and includes a filter element for filtering the fluid, as well as means for maintaining and relieving a predetermined level of pressure across the filter element to provide an accurate visual indicator as to whether the filter element needs replacement. The bypass valve allows fluid to flow from an unfiltered side of the filter element to a filtered side of the filter element when the pressure across the filter element exceeds the predetermined pressure.
