摘要： A disposable nozzle for an airless, polyurethane spray gun has an inlet chamber section sealingly latched to the gun nose for receiving polyurethane foam components, a mixing chamber section adjacent the inlet chamber containing a static mixer for mixing the polyurethane components and a dispensing tip section adjacent the mixing chamber for discharging the polyurethane as a spray. The dispensing tip has a longitudinally extending passage terminating at a rectangular opening in the tip defined by long side edges and short side edges. The length of the long side edges are generally maintained throughout the tip passage and approximate the diameter of the mixing chamber exit to produce a consistent rectangular fan spray pattern from the nozzle. Spray guide tabs extend from the long side edges of the rectangular tip opening to alleviate nozzle drip during dispensing.

摘要： A carton for a portable two-component polyurethane foam spray kit has front and rear panels interconnected at their vertically extending ends with carton sides to form a rectangular opening closed at its bottom by bottom flaps. A top cover flap has valve openings allowing the kit user to open and close pressurized “A” and “B” polyurethane cylinders carried in the carton without opening the carton. The carton is carried by a strap secured to the cylinders extending through the top of the carton. A closeable, punch-out front flap formed as part of the front panel allows the kit hoses to be attached to the cylinders and the dispensing gun and stored for shipment and use within the carton between the cylinders and the front panel.

摘要： A two-component dispensing gun has two longitudinally-extending dispensing passages receiving metering rods and in fluid communication with two feed passages adjacent to an especially configured metering rod tip and valve seats formed at the exit end of each dispensing passage. Valve seats of the dispensing passage extend as protrusions from the gun nose and are sealingly received within cup shaped recesses formed in a detachable, throwaway nozzle having a static mixing chamber. The nozzle has a truncated cone configuration which, in combination with the geometric configuration of the dispensing and feed passages alleviates turbulent flow of the liquid components until reaching the static mixer within the nozzle. A cammed surface on each metering rod in combination with a yoke crossbar formed as part of the gun's trigger provides increased motion of the trigger for fine or slow metering applications of the gun.
