    摘要: A fuel injector for an internal combustion engine includes a first injection valve having a first valve element that can be displaced in an axial direction and a first actuating device located axially downstream from the first injection valve to actuate the first injection valve. The fuel injector also has at least one second injection valve with a valve element that can be axially displaced and a second actuating device to actuate the second injection valve. The second actuating device is mounted axially downstream from the first actuating device in the valve housing, and the second actuating device to actuate the second injection valve is coupled to the latter by an actuating element, in the form of a cage-like arrangement, mounted in the valve housing in such a way that it can be displaced axially and bypasses the first actuating device.

The compact spray valve of the present invention includes an air body, a fluid control body and an extended atomizing air cap. The atomizing air cap along with a seat extension provides a plurality of laminar air flow conduits causing atomization of a fluid into a spray. The resulting spray pattern can be controlled to provide a narrow line spray pattern with clearly defined edges. Another embodiment of the present invention provides a flat spray pattern.

The fuel injector also includes an air assist sleeve disposed about the housing proximate to the outlet. The air assist sleeve includes at least one air channel in communication with the plurality of channels. A method of providing a fuel/air mixture is also provided.

    摘要: An aerosol spray gun used selectively in two spraying modes of small and large patterns is provided. The aerosol spray gun has a throttle valve, an air duct, and a coupling link. The throttle valve has an internal air duct for supplying pressurized air to a patterning air outlet which shapes a paint spraying stream jetted out from the aerosol spray gun, and has a movable valve element to which a compressed spring applies force to open the valve. The air duct created at the tip of the movable valve element supplies a small volume of air from the internal air duct to the patterning air outlet while the movable valve element seats on a valve seat. The coupling link, coupling the movable valve element to the trigger, has an elongated hole to disconnect the trigger from the movable valve element without cooperative relation between them from an initial stage where an operator begins to squeeze the trigger to an intermediate stage before the operator fully squeezes the trigger.

    摘要: The present invention relates to polyurethane foam spray guns and disposable, attachable nozzles. The spray gun has at least two barrels and metering chambers containing continuous passageways defined by inner bores. Each inner bore can have at least one ramp-shaped slot for controlled metering of a resin. Within each barrel and metering chamber is a plunger. At the front end of the plunger but not the tip is an O-ring that aids in the control of the metering of each resin. At the mid-section of the plunger is at least one O-ring that aids in the prevention of leakage within the spray gun. Both the plunger tip and the discharge opening of each barrel/metering chamber are narrowed/conical. The nozzle contains a one-way valve to prevent the crossover of the resins. The nozzle's tip has different shapes depending on the structure of the foam product desired.

    摘要: The fuel-injection valve has the feature that provision is made at the downstream end of the injection valve for a preparation attachment which is made of a gas-containing part and an insertion member. The downstream end of the injection valve with the preparation attachment is completely surrounded in the circumferential direction by a tubular, thin-walled, metallic gas-containing member. The gas-containing member is secured to the injection valve by a non-integral snap-fit, catch or clip connection to a plastic extrusion coating at least partially enveloping the valve housing. The corresponding connection elements are constructed in the form of projections and clips. The fuel-injection valve is particularly suited for injection into the intake passage of a mixture-compressing internal combustion engine with externally supplied ignition.

    摘要: A two-component dispensing gun has two longitudinally-extending dispensing passages receiving metering rods and in fluid communication with two feed passages adjacent to an especially configured metering rod tip and valve seats formed at the exit end of each dispensing passage. Valve seats of the dispensing passage extend as protrusions from the gun nose and are sealingly received within cup shaped recesses formed in a detachable, throwaway nozzle having a static mixing chamber. The nozzle has a truncated cone configuration which, in combination with the geometric configuration of the dispensing and feed passages alleviates turbulent flow of the liquid components until reaching the static mixer within the nozzle. A cammed surface on each metering rod in combination with a yoke crossbar formed as part of the gun's trigger provides increased motion of the trigger for fine or slow metering applications of the gun.
