摘要： An assembly for mounting medical connector caps includes a carrier formed from a sheet of material and having an array of holes. The assembly also includes a plurality of medical connector caps. Each cap is inserted into one of the holes of the array. The assembly also includes a plurality of sealing tabs. A distinct sealing tab includes a cover portion that sealingly covers the openable end of a corresponding one of the caps and includes an overhang portion that overhangs the openable end thereof. The overhang portion is dimensioned to include a tether of sufficient length that a tip of the tether overlaps an adjacent portion of the carrier. The tip is affixed to the carrier, so that the corresponding one of the caps is tethered to the carrier by such sealing tab.

摘要： Rectifying discrepancies between a table, from which a segment of data has been removed, and an index for the table may be deferred. Each entry in the index is sequentially analyzed to remove entries therefrom referring to any removed segment referenced in the starting location list. During this process, if a segment newly removed from the table is detected, then analysis of the index entries continues and an indicator is set that another segment has been removed. Analysis of the entries continues in a looping fashion until each entry has been assessed to determine if it makes a reference to any of the removed segments. If a query is received before rectification is complete then the query is amended by establishing search boundaries based so that the query does not produce any entries in the index referring to removed segments.

摘要： The present invention combines speech recognition tutorial training with speech recognizer voice training. The system prompts the user for speech data and simulates, with predefined screenshots, what happens when speech commands are received. At each step in the tutorial process, when the user is prompted for an input, the system is configured such that only a predefined set (which may be one) of user inputs will be recognized by the speech recognizer. When a successful recognition is being made, the speech data is used to train the speech recognition system.

摘要： A method for compressing digital image data with greyscale values comprises making at least three predictions of the greyscale value of each pixel and comparing the predicted values with the actual value of the pixel. The difference values between the respective predicted values and the actual value of each pixel is computed, and the median difference value of the three difference values is selected for bit coding. Bit coding is carried out by using variable length bit codes, the shortest length bit code being assigned to the most frequently occurring median difference value. The coded values of the median differences are bit packed, and in the case of a pixel where the absolute median difference value exceeds a predetermined value, the actual pixel value is bit packed.
