摘要： A system and method for monitoring power usage in a data storage environment, the system comprising a data storage system, a power monitor coupled to the data storage system and configured to monitor power consumption of the data storage system, a database in communication with the power monitor in order to communicate the monitored power consumption to the database, and computer-executable program code operating in memory coupled with a processor in communication with the database, wherein the computer-executable program code is configured to enable a processor to execute logic to receive power consumption information about the monitored power consumption, and display the monitored power consumption information to a user.

摘要： A trie searching technique employs entries each including a pointer to the next block in the search and a status indication and also including start and end indexes which define a selected section of the trie key identifying an entry within the block identified by the pointer. Thereby the program for selection of the search key is defined by the trie entries themselves, enabling a general variety of search selections and jumps to avoid any unnecessary parts of the trie search key.

摘要： Controlling the allocation of priority for data packets within a multi-port switch includes detecting the commencement of an HTTP message; enabling the storage of an identification of the source port on which that message was received by the switch; finding correspondence between destination data of packets and the said source port; and adjusting a priority allotted to said packets in response to the correspondence. The adjustment of priority preferably increases the priority of packets forwarded to said the port relative to priority allotted packets received at the source port and thereby allots asymmetric priority to traffic between a server and a client.

摘要： In one embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus is provided for use in testing a unit under test (UUT). The apparatus includes first and second assemblies. The first assembly has a plurality of members that extend from a surface of the first assembly and an electrically conductive test probe that extends from the surface. The second assembly includes openings dimensioned to receive respective ones of the members, and mechanisms that engage and apply a force to the members when the members are in the openings. When the UUT is under test, the members extend through openings in a PCB that are disposed around a ball grid array (BGA) device, and the force causes the assemblies to be urged toward each other so as to bring the probe into contact with a PCB via that is electrically connected to the BGA.

摘要： A test clip is provided for electrically interfacing an electronic component to test equipment used to electrically test the component and/or an electronic unit incorporating the component. The test clip is readily aligned on and secured to the electronic component to convert the component leads into accessible test points that may be probed or easily connected to the test equipment. The test clip may include one or more replaceable contacts that can be replaced, either individually or in one or more groups, when a contact becomes damaged or worn. The replaceable contacts may include one or more lead contacts that are electrically connected to test point contacts. The lead contacts may be adjustably supported on the test clip so that they can be properly aligned with the component leads. The contacts may also include one or more replaceable interface connectors, which may be provided with a resilient interconnector, for electrically interconnecting the component leads to the lead contacts of the test clip. The test clip may be secured to an electronic component by applying a vacuum to the component body to produce a relatively large holding force therebetween.
