摘要: A wireless User Equipment (UE) generate a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) message that comprises a SIP header and a user message. The SIP header indicates a priority QoS and the user message indicates a message destination. The wireless UE wirelessly transfers the SIP message to a wireless network and the wireless network transfers the SIP message to a message network. In response to the priority QoS indicated in the SIP header, the message network generates and transfers another SIP message using the priority QoS. The other SIP message comprises another SIP header and the user message.

The methods involve obtaining, by a first network device, a packet having a header and a payload and adding, by the first network device, to the header of the packet, metadata which includes first telemetry data and a metadata priority level that indicates a priority of the first telemetry data added to the header of the packet by the first network device. The methods further involve providing the packet to a second network device in a path of a network.

摘要: A packet transfer device 100 includes a packet classification unit 120 configured to classify received packets, queues 140 for respective classifications, priorities being set to the queues, a dequeue processing unit 150 configured to extract packets from the queue under a predetermined rule based on the priorities set to the queues, and a queue priority control unit 130 configured to perform control, upon detecting that a reception amount of packets related to a communication flow temporarily or intermittently increases from a reception amount under a normal condition, such that a priority of one of the queues holding the packets related to the communication flow is temporarily raised from a priority under the normal condition, during a period while the reception amount of packets related to the communication flow temporarily or intermittently increases.

The user may supply input for generating a network classification profile, which includes a number of classes of service (COSs) for prioritizing network traffic, including video transmission. A quality of service (QOS) may be measured and compared with a COS for video transmission. Depending on the measured QOS, a network alert may be issued and a priority of packets associated with the COS for video transmission may be increased.

摘要: A network device determines that a frame priority of a received frame is a value corresponding to an audio video bridging (AVB) communication protocol. When the network device determines that a destination address of the frame is not included in a forwarding database, the network device prevents the frame from being enqueued in any of one or more egress queues of the network device that are reserved for packets to be transmitted via the AVB communication protocol. When the network device determines, based on determining that the destination address is included in the forwarding database, that the frame is permitted to be enqueued in one of the one or more egress queues reserved for frames that are to be transmitted according to the AVB communication protocol, the network device enqueues the frame in one of the one or more egress queues for transmission via the AVB communication protocol.

摘要: A vehicle to everything application function (V2X AF) transmits a DIAMETER AA-request command to a policy and charging rule function (PCRF). The DIAMETER AA-request command comprises: an attribute value pairs (AVP) identifying a V2X application, and one of more quality of service (QoS) parameters. The one of more quality of service (QoS) parameters indicate a QoS of a V2X bearer for the V2X application employed by a wireless device. The PCRF decides one or more policy and charging control (PCC) provisions for the QoS provided for the V2X application identified by the AVP. The PCRF transmits a DIAMETER command to a policy charging enforcement function (PCEF). The DIAMETER command comprises the one or more PCC provisions for the QoS. The PCEF enforces the one or more PCC provisions for the QoS on a plurality of packets transmitted via the V2X bearer to the wireless device.

摘要: A communications controller is provided. The communications controller includes a flow manager that classifies a packet flow serviced by more than one transmission points (TPs) as one of a plurality of slices in accordance with at least one of a nature of the packet flow, a load status of each of the plurality of slices, and feedback information provided by the more than one TPs, and alters a classification of the packet flow in accordance with the load status of each of the plurality of slices, and feedback information provided by the TPs served by the communications controller. The communications controller also includes a memory coupled to the flow manager, the memory stores a packet of the packet flow in one of a plurality of packet queues in accordance with the classification of the packet flow.
