    摘要: Particulate sealing glass material is metered into a mixing container to occupy a portion of the volume of the mixing container. A selected amount of a gel producing vehicle is then introduced to the interior of said mixing container. The mixing container is then agitated for a predetermined length of time to thoroughly interdisperse the vehicle throughout the particulate sealing glass material.

    摘要: Sealing glass compositions are described which have low sealing temperature requirements and are particularly useful for sealing together the ceramic components used in microelectronic circuitry. The sealing glass compositions are characterized as low temperature, low expansion glasses of high chemical resistance especially against acid attack. Formed of a mixture of a lead borate base glass and beta eucryptite, the sealing glasses of the invention also possess high mechanical and thermal shock strength.

An electrical power conductor is contained within a substantially rigid dielectric casing formed of a plurality of elongated tubular glass casing sections hermetically bonded together linearly end to end forming a continuous elongated casing around the conductor. The casing is loosely contained in an outer duct which permits lateral movement of the casing in the duct but places a maximum limit on such movement.
