    摘要: A power supply system for a vehicle has at least one control unit with two power supply terminals that are each protected against overload by a fuse. The first power supply terminal is connected to a voltage regulator for the microcomputer of the control unit and to the accumulator via the quiescent current switch, while the second power supply terminal is connected to the accumulator via a fuse. The first power supply terminal supplies the microcomputer with energy, while the second power supply terminal actuates one power switch per control unit in order to supply energy to the output stages of an actuator which is operated by the control unit. The on-board vehicle power system control unit activates the quiescent current switch in order to deactivate the microcomputer, while the power switches of the same control unit are supplied with power.

The apparatus has sensors for sensing the rotary speeds of the wheels and the steering angle of the vehicle and a control unit which activates the drive components individually, simultaneously or in a given sequence as a function of: The travelling speed; the vehicle acceleration; the slip of the wheels; and the movement condition of the vehicle as a function of the steering angle. The apparatus also has an adaptively operating matching electronic system for accounting for the rotary speeds of the wheels and for the steering angle. An advantage of this apparatus is the engaging of required drive components automatically with narrow limit values and tolerances in necessary situations.

In this connection, a voltage signal that refers to a potential of the DC circuit is coupled into the detection conductor at an incoupling point via a series resistor, the voltage signal is coupled out again at an outcoupling point of the detection conductor, the voltage signal before the series resistor is compared to the voltage signal at the outcoupling point, and a conclusion is drawn that an arc has occurred when the voltage signal at the outcoupling point deviates from the voltage signal before the series resistor by more than a predetermined amount. This invention also relates to a device for carrying out the method. The method and the device permit a quick, reliable detection of an arc in a DC circuit.
