Abstract:
A jack and upper needle dial for circular knitting machine for fabricating double-knitting plush fabric includes an outer and inner curl sinker plate, an upper needle dial for holding the outer and inner curl sinker plate and a jack, and a sinker ring. The sinker ring may drive the outer and inner curl sinker plate to couple with a knitting needle to perform tucking and sinking loop operation for generating loop effect at both sides of the plush fabric. The outer and inner curl sinker plate may be moved smoothly in the jack without hitting the sinker ring and may prevent the sinker ring and outer and inner curl sinker plate from damaging.
Abstract:
A needle selection structure used in a rib knitting machine or interlocking knitting machine, which includes a computer-controlled needle selection unit arranged on a cover plate above a needle dial, and controlled by an external computer to move selection jacks, enabling plate needles to be selectively extended out to act with cylinder needles in knitting a yarn into a ribbed or interlocking fabric.
Abstract:
A water level detector and indicator system includes a water level detector and a water level display controlled by the water level detector to give a respective output signal when the level of water changes from one position to another. The water level detector can be a mechanical type which uses a float to control a multi-step switch causing a series of indicator lamps to give light respectively. The water level detector can be an electronic type which uses metal probes to detect the change of water level, and a controller driven by the metal probes to control buzzers and indicator lamps to work.
Abstract:
A circular knitting machine striper control system for controlling the operation of the stripers of a circular knitting machine in changing yarns for patterns automatically. The control system includes a controller carried on a rotary table, having a plurality of swinging plates respectively controlled by solenoids to drive striping fingers of either fixed striper in moving respective striping feeders to change yarns for patterns. A striping finger is not triggered by the respective swinging plate during the rotary motion of the rotary table as the respective solenoid does no work, when yarn changing operation is not needed.
Abstract:
An improved structure of press ring and steel ring for adjusting steel ring wearing to enable a circular knitting machine to function normally. The transmission mechanism of the circular knitting machine includes a frame, a lower transmission gear, a steel ring set, a press ring, a needle drum seat and a spindle. The frame has an adjustment element located therein and a bulged ring at the outer side. The press ring is located above the bulged ring and with a washer interposed therebetween. The adjustment element may be unfastened to release pressing force of the press ring against the steel ring set for replacing the washer with a new and thinner washer, then the adjustment element may be fastened again to press the steel ring set to eliminate the gaps between the steel ring set and the frame, lower transmission gear and press ring whereby the spindle may drive the lower transmission gear smoothly for the circular knitting machine to operate normally.
Abstract:
A selecting mechanism for a circular knitting machine, including a hollow base, which holds pairs of selecting jacks at different elevations, and a selecting jack pushing-up device detachably fastened to the hollow base to hold pairs of pushing-up plates, wherein each pushing-up plate has a nose turned about a respective pivot between two alternative positions for controlling the positions of the pairs of selecting jacks for a full-stitch, half-stitch, or plain-stitch operation.
Abstract:
A double-loop towel may be knitted in either a pile loop or non-pile pattern by a circular knitting machine having an inner pile jacquard mechanism which includes a selector and a selection jack for controlling the knitting operation.
Abstract:
An improved structure for adjusting the gap between an anchor seat and a needle drum seat of a circular knitting machine, and particularly an anchor seat coupled with a cam, has a fine tune bore and a positioning bore formed in the anchor seat, and a slide trough formed at the bottom side of the anchor seat for housing a slide block. A positioning bolt is provided to fasten the slide block to the anchor seat, and a fine tune bolt is provided to fasten the anchor seat and slide block to a lower lozenge ring. Through a lightly tapping on the anchor seat and fastening and unfastening the fine tune bolt and positioning bolt, the gap between the anchor seat and needle drum seat may be adjusted precisely thereby to prevent the needles located in the needle drum seat from hitting the cam or dropping, and enable the circular knitting machine to perform knitting operation smoothly and precisely.
Abstract:
A computer-controlled ground mesh jacquard knitting machine. The machine includes a set of yarn feeders supported on the machine base, a set of needles mounted on a needle cylinder, a set of first needle jacks respectively coupled to the needles, a set of second needle jacks respectively coupled to the first needle jacks, a lifting cam device controlled to lift the needles and the first needle jacks. The lifting cam device includes needle lifting guide blocks and flat guide blocks and needle descending guide blocks respectively arranged in an outertrack thereof, and the needle lifting guide blocks are arranged in an inner track thereof, and a needle selector is mounted below the lifting cam device, wherein the needle selector is controlled to selectively drive the second needle jacks when the needles and the first needle jacks are moved by the lifting device causing the needles to achieve a ground mesh jacquard knitting operation.
Abstract:
In a circular knitting machine shut-down positioning and needle/feeder position control method, two signals of 90.degree. phase difference are obtained from an encoder and then processed through a pulse generator for controlling the positioning of the forward/reverse rotation of the needle signal for controlling the positioning of the forward/reverse rotation of the needle cylinder and the value of the distance between the point of origin of the needle cylinder and the point of origin of the encoder are inputted into a needle position processing circuit for processing into a control signal, permitting the control signal thus obtained to be inputted into a main control circuit of the circular knitting machine for determining the real position of the first needle and the first feeder of the circular knitting machine.
