摘要： A sensor system for use with an infusion system may include at least one sensor disposed within a catheter, the at least one sensor comprising at least one of an optical sensor, an electrical sensor or a chemical/biochemical sensor. The sensor system may instead include a sample cell that is in fluid communication with the infusion system, which sample cell may be used with an analyzer to determine a patient's condition. The sensor system may be integrated with a control system for an infusion pump to control operation of the pump.
