A video server is provided that captures and digitally stores events logged by the logging application as media segments, and a search and retrieval engine is provided that enables the media segments to be located, retrieved and viewed based on the indexes. The system includes a graphical user interface generator that enables customized user interfaces and logging databases to be created from database tables for use in the logging application.

    摘要： A method and system are provided for using the contents of voice files as a basis for enabling search and other selection operations for data items that are associated with those voice files. Voice files may be received having associations with other data items, such as images or records. A corresponding text file is generated for each of the one or more voice files using programmatic means, such as a speech-to-text application. Each text file is provided an association with a data item based on the association of the voice file that served as the basis of its creation. Each text file is then made available for the performance of search and selection operations that result in the identification of associated data items.

    摘要： A media delivery system and technique are described to enable a media stream to be received at one end on a user's computer, and then re-streamed to a target device in a form that is suitable for that target. As an example of an implementation of such an embodiment, a streaming video and/or audio feed may be received on a user's media center, then re-streamed to a user's designated target device. The target device may correspond to, for example, another computer, a cell phone, or some other media output device.
