Abstract: A roller hinge assembly for connecting articulating door panels and simultaneously supporting a laterally extending panel support roller assembly includes one or more hinge units each having a male hinge strap and a female hinge strap. The structural integrity of one or more of the hinge units is supplemented by a reinforcing, slotted tubular member fitted over the roller axle support bushing which extends between and simultaneously engages opposed, spaced hinge strap arms. Two or more such hinge units may be arrayed laterally or side by side co-joined by a single hinge pin. Further, to insure appropriate alignment, a single tubular roller bushing may co-join the male or the female hinge units.

Abstract: A dock door assembly and a dock door assembly kit are provided for use in a dock door opening for installation in a warehouse. The dock door assembly comprises a pair of vertical tracks, with each vertical track configured to be attached to a wall along opposing lateral sides of the dock door opening. The dock door assembly also comprises a multiple, horizontal section door characterized by a vertical height when closed and mounted on the pair of vertical tracks. The dock door assembly further comprises a spring shaft assembly and a pair of headplates with each headplate having a U-shaped opening to receive each end of a torsion shaft. Further, the dock door assembly may comprise a pair of door cables and a pair of corner cable attachments connecting each door cable to the spring shaft assembly.

Abstract: An overhead, rolling door includes a peripheral seal construction that restricts air flow heat transfer through the periphery of a door opening. The door comprises a flexible curtain mounted on an overhead drum located above the door opening. The curtain may be unwound from the drum and lowered to close the door opening and engages the seal to preclude air flow energy loss through the door opening. The seal is comprised of unitary, elastomeric, elongate, flexible blades mounted on brackets positioned around the periphery of the door opening. The blades function as flexible cantilever mounted seals with an outer end that fits tightly against the surface of the closed door to form an uninterrupted seal of the closed door opening.
