摘要： An integrated cable management and equipment mounting device is disclosed for automatically providing cable management channels or troughs for a mounting surface removably attached to the device. A mounting member extends inwardly from the side walls defining a cable trough plane with the side wall. Additionally, each equipment mounting shelf or bracket has extending arms or members that form one or more “U” channels with the mounting element, thereby providing more cable troughs.

摘要： A telephone handset comprises elongated complementary upper and lower housing members that mate at their perimeters to form a hollow handset housing. The lower housing member includes a pair of spaced apart transducer receiving cavities, each being shaped to receive a cylindrical transducer surrounded by a flexible tubular gasket and form an acoustic seal therewith. Each gasket includes flanges around its circumference that project radially outward and in a direction opposite to the direction of insertion of the transducer/gasket assembly into its associated cavity. Such construction provides adequate mechanical retention between the transducer and the lower housing member and avoids the need for additional retaining hardware. The upper housing is joined to the lower housing using one or more pairs of side-mounted, interlocking hooks and latches. The upper housing further includes ribs, molded therein and positioned to maintain the transducers in place when it is joined with the lower housing.

摘要： A telephone handset comprises elongated complementary upper and lower housing members that mate at their perimeters to form a hollow handset housing. The lower housing member includes spaced transducer mounting positions, each of which accommodates both an individual transducer and a transducer mounting member for holding the transducer in the transducer mounting position. Each transducer mounting member is secured to the lower housing member and an upper surface of each enclosure inlcudes a recess for accommodating a bonding material. In addition, the upper housing member includes elements that extend into the recesses of the transducer mounting members when the upper housing member is mated to the lower housing member. The bonding material in the recesses serves to secure the two housing members together.
