    摘要: A compression latch comprises a latch housing with a driving end and a driven end and with a drive shaft which is rotatably supported between these ends and which has a driving device such as a socket wrench receptacle or gearing at the driving end of the latch housing. The latch housing, at the driven end, forms an annular surface around the axis of the drive shaft. According to the invention, the drive shaft has, at the driven end of the latch housing, a bearing journal whose axis has an angle of approximately 45 degrees relative to the axis of the drive shaft, and the base of a rotary latch is supported on the bearing journal, this base (30) forming an annular surface around the axis of the bearing journal, and two annular surfaces roll on one another by frictional engagement or positive engagement when the drive shaft is rotated.

    摘要: A bridging apparatus for spanning the space defined between two relatively movable structural floor members includes anchor sections adapted to be mounted to the edges of the floors and a two part bridging unit having outer edges pivotally connected to the anchor members. One inner edge of a bridging member includes a spaced pair of legs defining a groove arrayed at an acute angle to the floor, the other bridging member including a tongue riding in the groove. The upper leg of the member defining the groove is wedge-shaped the upper surface of the leg being parallel to the floor structures when the same are aligned horizontally.

    摘要: A joint bridging arrangement comprises a bridging unit having a central portion, side parts, and anchoring units adjoining the longitudinal sides of the side parts. The side parts are pivotably connected to the central portion for movement about a pivot axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the bridging arrangement. Cleats or legs of the side part and anchoring unit are interengaged and relatively slidable at an acute angle relative to the upper side of the center part. The upper-most surface of the bridging unit includes a portion having a wedge shaped cross section corresponding to the acute angle so that the transition from the bridging to the anchoring units, and hence to the structural parts bridged by the joint is essentially stepless.
