摘要： A delivery system for sunscreen products that applies a dry, waterproof sunscreen composition to the skin. The delivery system for suncare products of the present invention is designed to apply only the required amount of sunscreen composition to the skin without excess. The sunscreen composition is applied to an article such as paper, nonwoven cloth or porous plastic which is subsequently rubbed onto the skin. Alternatively, the sunscreen may take the form of a wafer or a bar with or without a support article. A delivery system for suncare products which include dihydroxyacetone in order to produce a semi-permanent color that gives the appearance of a natural suntan is described which utilizes the same self-leveling principle as the delivery system for suncare products containing sunscreen compositions.

摘要： A composition and method for the effective, nonirritating treatment of acne is disclosed. The method includes treatment of the affected area by topical application of an ozonized material derived by ozonizing various fixed oils and unsaturated esters, alcohols, ethers and fatty acids. The ozonized materials of the present invention have the ability to penetrate the comedone and deliver nascent oxygen directly to the acne microorganisms without the characteristic dryness and skin irritation associated with previous methods of acne treatment.

摘要： Compositions and processes for medicating human skin disorders using hydrogen peroxide as an active antimicrobial agent. The composition includes essentially hydrogen peroxide, a non-volatile carrier-solvent, and water. A predetermined final hydrogen peroxide concentration is achieved through evaporation of water. In this manner, hydrogen peroxide concentration may be controlled to avoid deleterious effects. Other therapeutic agents such as alpha hydroxy acids may also be added to the composition for treating various skin ailments.

In the case of hydrogen peroxide, the agent is solubilized in carrier materials that are completely miscible with water and are nonvolatile. The use of such materials as carriers allows for a controlled release of nascent oxygen at a skin treatment site in the case of hydrogen peroxide.
