    摘要: An authentication bank for a wireless communication system is disclosed. The authentication bank comprises a plurality of physical identification modules. A physical identification module may include one or more memory, processors, programs, and computer readable media storing subscriber identity module and authentication information. At least one of the one or more programs stored in the memory may comprise instructions executable by at least one of the one or more processors. The executable instructions may cause the one or more processors to receive a request, from an authentication server, for associating the subscriber identity module (SIM) with a foreign wireless communication client or an extension unit, retrieve subscriber identity information and authentication information for the foreign wireless communication client or the extension unit from the SIM, and send the subscriber identity information and the authentication information to the authentication server.

    摘要: A foreign wireless communication system is operated in a local communication network as if the foreign wireless communication system were a local wireless communication system. A data communication link is established between the wireless communication system and a service provider in a local wireless communication network. An outgoing request for authentication information is communicated from the wireless communication system to a remote administration system over the data communication link. The authentication information is received over the data communication link from the administration system and is transmitted over a signal link from the wireless communication system to the service provider. A requested wireless communication service is received at the wireless communication system based on authentication of the wireless communication system by the service provider using the authentication information.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to systems for and methods of using dual mode handsets or softphone client for voice, sms, and data services. In one embodiment of the present invention, a mobile handset uses a SIP User Agent to register on a visiting network. The mobile handset generates SIP REGISTER messages. The SIP REGISTER messages are translated into corresponding MAP registration (or RADIUS message) and authentication commands, allowing system to contact the HPLMN HLR (or home AAA) associated with the mobile device to authenticate the mobile device and register it on a VLR of a visiting network. MAP responses (or RADIUS response) are translated to corresponding SIP commands that are forwarded to the mobile device, thereby completing the connection set up.

    摘要: A gel barrier may be created within an annulus in a one-step operation by combining two or more solutions within the annulus. The two solutions may include a first solution, such as a silicate solution, and a second solution that may be an aqueous hardener solution. Once the two solutions are combined and subsequently reacted together, the forming of a gel barrier may occur between a plurality of zones along the annulus. The gel barrier may then prevent a fluid from traveling between adjacent zones of the wellbore annulus.
