    摘要: A well tool performs an operation in an oil/gas well. The well tool includes: a mandrel having a longitudinal direction and a radial direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction; and an anchoring device for longitudinally locking the well tool to a bore including a lock groove. The anchoring device includes: a first ring arranged radially outside the mandrel; a second ring arranged radially outside the mandrel at a longitudinal distance from the first ring and movable in the longitudinal direction relative to the first ring; a spring element being substantially ring-shaped and arranged radially outside the mandrel; and a plurality of locking dogs distributed circumferentially on the spring element and located longitudinally between the first ring and the second ring. The anchoring device has a run state in which the first ring and the second ring are provided at an initial longitudinal distance from each other. The anchoring device has a set state in which the first ring and the second ring are provided at a shorter distance from each other, thereby wedging the locking dogs outwards in the radial direction. The spring element is configured to bias the locking dogs inwards in the radial direction towards the run state of the anchoring device.

    摘要: A casing packer apparatus (P) comprising a mandrel (2) having a longitudinal throughbore, a packer element (6) mounted on the mandrel, and an expansion mechanism comprising a piston (11, 12) configured to move the packer element from a first position radially outwards to a second position. A bypass conduit (25) extends generally in said longitudinal direction, from one side of an outer sealing face of the packer element to an opposite side of the outer sealing face, and a bypass valve (41) controls said bypass conduit. The bypass valve is controlled by signals received via a wireless receiver (40). The casing packer can be deployed as an integral part of the casing string and used to control pressure build-up in the casing annulus.

    摘要: Systems and methods include a method for testing in a well. Inflow packers are run into a hole in locked position downhole. A liner top diagnostic tool is run on a drill pipe to a desired depth. A lower-packer-sized ball is dropped into the well to activate a lower inflow packer assembly. A back side of the lower inflow packer assembly is pressure-tested to ensure seal integrity. The lower inflow packer is unset by withdrawing string weight while rotating the string. The drill string is displaced to test fluid to the end of the string, and weight and rotation are applied again to set the lower inflow packer. A Homer plot is established based on an inflow test. A deactivation-sized ball is dropped to deactivate the lower include packer assembly. An upper inflow packer assembly is activated using upper-packer-sized ball. A leak is identified based on testing both liner tops.

    摘要: A frac plug is disclosed that is used for isolating a lower portion of a wellbore from an upper portion to enable a fracking process on newly created perforations in casing or liner pipe where the frac plug is particularly designed rapid drill out after all the fracking operations have been completed. The frac plug includes arrangements for holding the polymer or rubber element from rotation as the plug is being drilled. One arrangement includes pins that lock the polymer element to the bottom cone. In another, the polymer element is simply bonded by adhesive to the faceted cone. The facets on the cone prevent the cone from rotating in the wellbore by being pressed against the flat bottom slip segments that remain locked to the casing or liner pipe.
