    摘要: An image display apparatus includes an arc lamp as a white-light source, an ellipsoidal mirror for collecting a light beam from the arc lamp, a color filter for producing sequentially three primary colors of light from the white-light beam, a condenser lens for transmitting a light beam transmitted through the color filter, and a single spherical mirror or non-spherical mirror for reflecting the light beam transmitted through the condenser lens. The image display apparatus further includes a digital micromirror device. This device receives the light beam reflected from the reflecting mirror and produces on and off states by varying the tilt of a micromirror of each of a number of two-dimensionally arrayed pixels to vary the angle of reflection of the light beam reflected therefrom. From there, a projection lens enlarges and projects the light beam reflected from a pixel. The spherical mirror or non-spherical mirror is arranged such that the normal of the mirror at an intersection where the optical axis of an optical illumination module including the arc lamp, the ellipsoidal mirror and the condenser lens intersects the mirror, is inclined by a predetermined angle.

    摘要: The present invention discloses an automatic sheet feeder to feed manuscript sheets onto and discharge the same from the top of the stage on the overhead projector. The automatic sheet feeder comprises a side guide plate disposed at the top of a side edge of the stage, a bottom plate forming a manuscript set window together with the side guide plate, a side plate perpendicular to the side guide plate, a plurality of side feeding rollers for forward and backward rotations supported by the above side plate, and notches formed at the above side guide plate immediately below these rollers to accept the manuscript sheet whose side edge is pressed downward by the outer circumference of the side feeding rollers.

    摘要: An opaque projector includes a light source, a stage through which the light radiating from the light source passes and on which an object is placed, a projection mirror for reflecting light reflected by the object, and a projector lens for gathering the light reflected by the projection mirror to form an image of the object on an image projecting surface located outside of the projector. A reflection mirror for reflecting the light from the light source to illuminate the object is provided on each of the two sides of the projection mirror. The light source is disposed in front of the projeciton mirror and on the inner sides of the reflection mirrors. The reflection mirrors and light source are disposed at positions relative to each other and to the projection mirror which ensures that the light reflected by the reflection mirrors, and regularly reflected by the object and the stage, is not incident on the projection lens and that the real and virtual images of the light source exist outside of the field angle of the projection lens.

    摘要: A lamp cartridge according to the present invention includes a lamp as a light source; a reflecting mirror for converging the light emitted from the lamp; and several side surfaces forming a case for covering the lamp, the reflecting mirror and for supporting the reflecting mirror. In the present invention, one of the surfaces forming the case where light is emitted out of the lamp cartridge and away from the reflecting mirror is provided with a hole having a diameter smaller than that of the end of the reflecting mirror. In addition, an optical axis of the hole is directly aligned with an optical axis of the end of the reflecting mirror where light is emitted out of the lamp cartridge. Further, a fan is provided on one of the side surfaces forming the lamp cartridge case. Outside air is introduced through the hole and into the interior of the lamp cartridge whereby heat generated by the lamp and the reflecting mirror is exhausted by the fan.
