    摘要: The Arabidopsis NI16 gene was isolated in a yeast 2-hybrid screen via its interaction with the NIM1 protein and encodes a protein involved in the regulation of SAR gene expression in plants. NI16 is strongly induced in NIM1-overexpressing plants treated with benzo(1,2,3)thiadiazole-7-carbothioic acid S-methyl ester (BTH). The nucleic acid sequence of the Arabidopsis NI16 promoter is disclosed herein.

    摘要: An integral cold plate/chassis (ICPC) housing may be formed from two blocks of material, having a cold plate sandwiched therebetween, brazed together. The blocks may then be machined to fit power electronics therein, thereby providing a cold plate as an integral part of the power electronic's housing. Unlike conventional heat exchangers that may be used to dissipate heat from power-dissipating components that are housed typically in sheet metal housings, the ICPC described herein provides a cold plate integral to the housing of power electronics, thereby allowing the rapid and efficient removal of heat from the components into the cold plate carrier fluid and out of the system.

    摘要: The portable and compact motion simulator (10) comprises of a platform (22), a support base (20), one powered and controlled extensible member (24), and a motion base controller (26). The simulator can be used like a seat cushion that can be placed on a chair or can be part of a chair. The platform (22) is driven by the said extensible member (24) via a motion base controller (26) to effect motion along the single degree-of-freedom in synchronization with audio and visual images. The said motion base controller (26) provides computing resources to operate and control the motion simulator (10), thereby eliminating the need for computing resources external to the motion simulator (10). A dynamics control means (40) optimizes the dynamic performance of the motion base in accordance with the weight of the patron (02).
