摘要： A cabinet is provided with a curved, upwardly-swinging door and interior shelves. The curved shelf door is mounted on a pair of opposed arms which rotate on a horizontal axis. Each arm is provided with two opposed, circularly arcuate slots and a central ellipsoidal slot, each slot engaging a fixed stud at the side of the cabinet. The ellipsoidal slot and its corresponding stud provide a center pivot for each of the arms. The arms are mounted inside the cabinet on opposed interior side walls. Lighting can be provided in a formed recess in the bottom of the cabinet. The cabinet can also be provided with plural internal shelves supported on planar brackets. The cabinet further can be provided with a pair of side-by-side doors and a center wall. Arms are mounted on each side of the center wall and adjacent the interior side walls of the cabinet, for separately mounting the doors.

摘要： A method of operating a power-assisted hydraulic steering system of a motor vehicle having a hydraulic pump mechanically driven by a vehicle drive assembly, and having an additional function which reduces the amount of power assistance at a high driving speed in comparison to the assistance at a low driving speed and, in the process, simultaneously increases the quantity of hydraulic medium circulated by way of the hydraulic assistance unit of the steering gear is provided. This additional function is activated independently of the driving speed also under operating conditions which may subject the hydraulic pump to extreme stress. For example, the additional function may be activated shortly before reaching the steering end stop, which can be detected by use of an appropriately arranged steering angle sensor. An activation also is possible if steering angles which are larger than a defined limit steering angle are set for a defined time period. Furthermore, this additional function may be activated when the temperature of the hydraulic medium and/or the pressure on the pump delivery side exceed(s) a certain limit value(s), as required, also as a function of time.

摘要： A simplified attachment for a mailbox which alerts the mailbox addressee that mail has been delivered. The attachment includes a signal flag mounted on a spring activated spool rotatably secured within a housing affixed to the side of the mailbox. When the mailbox door is closed, the upper end of the signal flag is held under tension in a horizontal position by a keeper mounted on the door of the mailbox. When the mailbox door is opened, the signal flag is released from its horizontal position and, powered by the spring, rises to a vertical position above the mailbox to alert the addressee that the mail has arrived.

摘要： A furniture work surface such as a table top or desk top has a through hole in which is mounted a grommet. An electrical outlet box is insertable into the grommet without blocking the passage of the other wires that pass through the grommet to the work surface.
