摘要： A GSM or UMTS mobile telecommunications network is provided including a radio access network comprising macro base stations with additional access points. The access points are connected to a network core via a hub and a concentrator and may appear to a mobile terminal as a conventional base station that communicates with the mobile terminal using GSM or UMTS protocols and does not require modification to a standard GSM or UMTS mobile terminal. The access points are associated as a cluster. A procedure includes performing initial configuration of the access points such that one or more of the access points operates in a transmit mode while the other access points operate in a receive mode only. The strength of the received signal is processed by a processor associated with the concentrator which calculates and provides parameters to each of the access points to provide optimum radio coverage within premises.

摘要： There is presented a method and system for providing a compact graphical user interface for flexible filtering of data. The method comprises showing a search interface on a display device for filtering a content set by a plurality of domains, including a first domain, displaying, within the search interface, a first graphical representation of a parameter set of the first domain in response to a selecting of the first domain, receiving a first parameter subset from the first graphical representation, filtering a content set using the first parameter subset to obtain a search result, and displaying the search result on a display device. The search interface includes a temporally visible menu for selecting parameter sets of the domains and a compact single line query box to display graphical representations of parameter sets or to provide a conventional text entry box.

摘要： Disclosed is a method of identifying interference in a cellular telecommunications network including a plurality of cells controlled by a base stations 5, each cell serving a plurality of mobile devices 1 by radio link by using communication resources allocated to each of the mobile devices, the network having a frequency band allocated thereto. The method includes detecting radio quality within the frequency band at at least one of the cells to produce measurement values; and analysing selected ones of the measurement values to determine if the selected measurement values indicate the presence of interference, wherein the selected measurement values exclude the measurement values relating to the communication resources allocated to each of the mobile devices served by the cell.

摘要： Configuring a cellular telecommunications network base station repeater for use at a particular location includes performing data collection activity at the location to obtain an indication of the transmit frequency of a nearby base station of the cellular telecommunications network. The repeater is then set to amplify received signals at that frequency. By only amplifying this particular frequency, the repeater can provide cellular telecommunications coverage at a location (for example a basement) where coverage might not otherwise be available by amplifying only the relevant frequency. This is in contrast to amplifying indiscriminately a wide range of frequencies, which can interfere with other radio transmissions.

摘要： A sunshade comprising a plurality of U-shaped bails, pivotally joined together at each end by a plastic joint. A fabric web ensheathes the bails and creates a shade-providing canopy when the bails are spread apart from each other in fan-like fashion. A framing bail frames a fabric sleeve and provides means for supporting the sunshade in an upright position. The sleeve non-mechanically engages the sunshade to the back portion of a chair. A cover, that extends beyond the sleeve, is used when the portable sunshade is in a folded disposition. The ends of the cover are fastened together to keep the sunshade clamped shut. A strap is provided for ease of carrying the portable sunshade.
