摘要: A double twisting spindle is equipped with a pneumatically operated threading device. An injector nozzle is provided in the spindle rotor, an air stream through which nozzle sucks a thread into a hollow spindle axle and moves the thread through a thread channel in the storage plate. A compressed-air supply device is arranged below the spindle rotor for supplying compressed air to a central connecting channel provided in the spindle rotor and in communication with the injector nozzle. A common operating lever is provided which first operates a spindle brake and then opens a valve of the compressed-air supply device. The connecting channel has at its open lower end a funnel-shaped enlargement. The compressed-air supply device is stationary and has a blow nozzle which is fixedly arranged a small distance from the lower end of the spindle rotor and has an outlet opening which is coaxial with the funnel-shaped portion, the diameter of the outlet opening being smaller than the inlet diameter of the funnel-shaped portion.

摘要: A double twist thread twisting frame having a plurality of double twist spindles thereon each of which is surrounded by a balloon limiter having an upper rim thereon and at their lower parts a storage disc and a whorl driven by a belt spaced below the storage disc. A closure structure is provided around each balloon limiter to define a channel which communicates with the spindles and the interior of the balloon limiters. A suction device is connected in circuit with the channel means to evacuate the air contained therein. The closure structure, particularly an upper wall thereof, is located generally at the level of the upper rim of the balloon limiter and has a circular opening coaxial with the upper rim of the balloon limiter. The circular opening is somewhat smaller in diameter than the upper part of the balloon limiter. A suction opening is provided in the balloon limiter below the upper wall of the closure structure and a blower nozzle is connected to a tube which extends in the longitudinal direction of the frame for supplying conditioned air to the circular opening in the balloon limiter.

摘要: A swingable spool holder for a spool which can be driven on its periphery is controlled by a pneumatic drive device which can swing the spool holder between an operating position and a rest position. A compressed-air line is connected to the pneumatic drive device, and to a control valve which can be moved into two switching positions by a feeler lever which engages the thread which is to be wound up. A throttle valve which is effective in one direction is provided in the compressed-air line, which throttle valve is influenced by pressure in the compressed-air line so that it throttles the compressed-air supply to the pneumatic drive in one switching position of the control valve and, in another switching position, permits the rapid escape of compressed-air from the pneumatic drive device into the compressed-air line. An arrangement cooperable with the pneumatic drive device and an operating rod which acts onto the spool holder effects a no-load stroke of the drive device of a predetermined length before the operating rod is moved by the drive device.
