The adapter, preferably a one-piece structure, has a substantially flat roof engaging flange extending inwardly from the edge of the roof; a substantially flat drip flange extending outwardly from the edge of the roof; and first and second downwardly extending and spaced apart flanges which define an open bottomed channel for receiving the wall of the eaves trough therein, wherein said first flange is adjustable with respect to said roof engaging flange by bending while said first and second flanges remain substantially parallel.

摘要： An adjustable extension assembly for a downspout includes a fixed piece attachable to the lowermost end of a downpipe, a rotatable collar attached to the fixed piece, and at least one extension pivotably attached to the rotatable collar. Optionally additional slidably extendable members may be telescopingly attached to the extension. The extension members are channel-shaped in cross-section. The extension may be composed of a polymerized material or a metal. In addition to being easily attached to a downspout, the adjustable extension of the present invention may be selectively adjusted for fitting, for selective water deflection, and for proper lawn maintenance.

摘要： A hold-down strap for holding a tarp or the like comprises an elongated pliable body portion and two end portions fitted to the body portion. The end portions are elastic and are preferably composed of an elastomeric compound or a natural rubber. Along the free end of each end portion are situated a plurality of eyelet fasteners. Along the side edges of the body portion are fitted a plurality of eyelet fasteners. The body portion is itself composed of a webbed material such as cloth or a resin-permeated fiber glass mat. Cord may be used to interconnect the eyelets of one strap with those of another strap, with a tarp, or with a fixed object to thereby hold down a tarp or a similar covering.

摘要： A guard screen for a rain gutter for placement over the open end of a rain gutter for preventing the accumulation of debris in the gutter. The guard screen of the present invention includes a longitudinal screen body bordered by a pair of longitudinal edges. The guard screen includes a first edge and a second edge. The first edge has a U-shaped channel defined therein for connection with the front lip of a conventional gutter. At the terminal ends of the arms of the "U" are provided opposing flanges that reduce the open end of the channel to a narrow slot. The lip of the gutter is gripped between the opposing flanges when the guard screen is in place and, when in position, the lip of the gutter is firmly held therein. The second edge includes a flange for placement between the shingles of a roof and the roof boards. The screen body is preferably composed of a polymerized material.

摘要： A guard screen for a rain gutter is provided for placement over the rain gutters of a building structure. The guard screen includes a longitudinal screen body portion bordered by a pair of longitudinal edges. The first edge has a channel defined therein for interconnection with the front lip of a gutter. The second edge includes a flange and a roof board edge abutment rib. The flange of the second edge fits between shingles of a roof and the roof boards. The roof board edge abutment rib abuts the roof board edge. Because the screen body portion is composed of a resilient material such as aluminum or vinyl, the tension produced from the interconnection of the channel with the gutter lip and the abutment rib with the edge of the roof boards causes the body to resiliently arch or bow. This tension holds the guard screen in place.

摘要： A clip is provided for use in conjunction with an eaves trough adapter of the type having a roof flange which flatly abuts against and protrudes outwardly from the upper surface of the roof and a drip flange which extends from the outer edge of the roof flange and towards the building eave. Such eaves trough adapters are typically secured to the building in an end to end alignment with each other. The clip includes a first flat portion which flatly abuts against and overlies the intersection of two adjacent roof flanges. A second clip portion overlies and flatly abuts against the intersection of the drip flange to both strengthen the eave trough adapters as well as provide an even roof line at their intersection.
