    摘要: A drip edge having a flange configured to rest against a roof surface following installation on a perimeter of the roof surface and a flap hingedly extending from a terminal edge of the flange configured to be positioned a predefined distance towards the center of the roof surface, as measured from an edge of the roof surface on which the flange is configured to be mounted, following installation of the flange on the roof surface, wherein the flap and flange, in combination, form a cavity configured to retain a shingle therein, thereby improving the strength with which the starter shingle is secured to the roof surface against wind uplift while improving its resilience to moisture intrusion and easing installation while also rendering shingle alignment more consistent.

    摘要: A kick out flashing includes a base for placement adjacent a roof, a sidewall for placement adjacent a wall by the roof, a first kick out wall angled away from the sidewall, an intermediate wall joined with the first kick out wall, distal from and optionally parallel to the sidewall, and a second kick out wall angled away from the intermediate wall, the second kick out wall distal from the sidewall and downstream from the first kick out wall. The sidewall, intermediate wall and a bottom wall can form a channel that receives a J channel or other wall covering. The first kick out wall can prevent water from traveling directly under the bottom wall and/or the channel, diverting it away from the sidewall. The second kick out wall can further divert water away from the channel and/or sidewall.

The channel walls are resiliently flexible to enable receipt of a continuous length of the heating cable within the cavity such that the heating cable is in snug continuous contact with the channel to enhance heat conductance from the heating cable to the base panel.

    摘要: A pre-notched drip edge assembly and related method includes a plurality of drip edge sections interconnected end-to-end to form a continuous water barrier along a roof edge. Each drip edge section has a formed one-piece construction with a top flange and a bottom flange having an inverted L-shape with upper and lower legs. The forward edges of the top flange and the upper leg are integrally interconnected along a folded-over nose having a wedge-shape. A pair of notches are formed in the opposite ends of each drip edge section which extend through the upper edge of the lower leg and the forward edges of the upper leg and the top flange to define flat end tab areas that are inserted into the noses of the next adjacent drip edge sections to horizontally and vertically locate the same along the building roof.

    摘要: The present invention is directed toward a device and system for removing moisture from the drainage plane of the exterior cladding to the surface of the exterior wall, and is specifically designed for use in soffits and overhangs. The device comprises both at least one angled portion which directs water from the drainage plane of the exterior wall, through the stucco cladding and to the outside of the building. A drip edge and lip on the bottom of the device further create a cup or gap which prevents the moving water from further moving along the underside of the overhang.
