Methods and apparatuses are disclosed for enabling a satellite-based navigation signal receiver to support multiple types of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS). A legacy GNSS receiver can support a plurality of GNSS types by software upgrade and with a new/modified radio frequency (RF) chip. There is no need to completely redesign a navigation host chip to support the multiple GNSS types. This invention offers a cost-efficient multi-GNSS solution without sacrificing the navigation performance. A GNSS baseband controller controls synchronization of measurement time for digitized data along a first signal processing path for a legacy GNSS signal and a second signal processing path for a non-legacy GNSS signal.

Logging messages includes providing a logging subsystem that performs logging tasks, providing a log message database that contains log messages that are accessed according to a token value and providing calls to the logging subsystem, where a preprocessor modifies source code to replaces in-line text string parameters with tokens corresponding to the text string parameters. The in-line text string parameters may be log messages. The log message database may be coupled to the logging subsystem and the logging subsystem may access the log messages using the tokens. The preprocessor may determine if an in-line text message already exists in the log message database and, if not, may create a new entry for the in-line text message in the log message database.

This invention relates to a multi-purpose traveling suitcase which comprises: (1) a backboard; (2) a fixed case attached to the lower front side of the backboard, wherein the fixed case has a pair of casters located at the lower front outer corners away from the backboard; (3) a swinging case attached to the upper side of the backboard, and (4) a scissor-like support at the back side of the backboard, wherein the scissor-like support comprises a pair of leg members and a pair of drive rod members, wherein the pair of leg members comprises a pair of leg wheels at the lower ends. The swinging case can be swung backward, which, with the support of the scissor-like support, turns the multi-purpose traveling suitcase into a stroller. The additional features of the multi-purpose traveling suitcase include, but not limited to: a back case located at the back side of the backboard; a foot rest attached to the lower front side of the fixed case; two foldable side protection boards used as the arm rests for the stroller; a pair of extension rods extended from the upper ends of the pair of drive rod members; and a connector located at the front lower corners of the swinging case to firmly connect the swinging case to the fixed case.
