摘要： An image display apparatus includes: a light source that outputs light; a light modulation device that has plural pixels arranged in a matrix and modulates the light from the light source; a projection system that projects the light modulated by the light modulation device onto a projection surface; a pixel image shift unit that can shift positions of images of the pixels of the light modulation device projected on the projection surface; and a control unit that controls the light modulation device and the pixel image shift unit, wherein the control unit can switch whether the pixel image shift unit temporally shifts the positions of the images of the pixels or not.

摘要： An image display apparatus includes: a light source system that emits light having a first wavelength and a second wavelength switched with time; a light modulator that modulates the light having the first wavelength and the second wavelength emitted from the light source system; an optical path adjustment system that shifts the optical paths of the light having the first wavelength and the second wavelength modulated by the light modulator from each other; and the optical path adjustment system, wherein the optical path adjustment system includes a wavelength selecting surface that reflects the light having the first wavelength and transmits the light having the second wavelength, and mirror system disposed in such a way that the optical paths of the light having the first wavelength and the second wavelength having traveled via the wavelength selecting surface are shifted from each other.

摘要： A disc cartridge having a disc for recording information signals and a main cartridge body member for rotatably housing the disc. The disc cartridge is designed to be loaded on a recording and/or reproducing apparatus. The main cartridge body member has, on its one surface, a label area for bonding a display label indicating the recording contents of the information signals, while having, on its other surface, a spindle hole for rotating the disc by the recording and/or reproducing apparatus. The main cartridge body member has a design parameter discriminating hole extending along the back side opposite to the front side in the cartridge inserting direction. The recording capacity or design parameters of the disc housed within the main cartridge body member may be discriminated by detecting the design parameter discriminating hole.
