    Abstract: Radiofrequency system includes a main antenna and a radiation pattern adaptation device including a printed circuit, on which two radiating strands and a reflector are printed, and on which a switching circuit is mounted, connected to the two radiating strands and arranged to be controlled, such that when the switching circuit is in a blocked mode, the radiofrequency system has a first radiation pattern; and when the switching circuit is in a passing mode, the two radiating strands form a halfwave dipole antenna, the radiofrequency system thus having a second radiation pattern having an increased or decreased gain in at least one predetermined direction.

    Abstract: Methods/devices for managing messages broadcast in a local area network (LAN) include nodes allowing an extension of wireless communication coverage and stations. The nodes are connected together by a backhaul subnetwork, and at least one node sends at least one wireless network to which the stations are connected. The LAN includes a primary subnetwork and a secondary subnetwork. The primary subnetwork is a subnetwork to which the links of the backhaul network and the nodes belong. The secondary subnetwork is composed of at least one station and is isolated from the rest of the LAN by a virtual network. A node able to apply the filtering rules demands an analysis of the topology of the local network, determines, from the topology of the LAN, filtering rules to be applied, and applies the filtering rules determined to the broadcast packets including at least one item of information identifying the virtual network.

    Abstract: A method of managing an audio stream that is read by audio playback equipment in a manner that is synchronized on a reference clock is provided. The method includes the following steps implemented in said piece of audio playback equipment: receiving the audio stream, the audio stream being in the form of packets, each packet comprising a succession of audio samples associated with identification information characteristic of a timestamp of said packet; playing the audio samples contained in each packet and storing a time given by the reference clock that is characteristic of the moment at which a predetermined sample of at least one of the packets is played; and sending a message including correspondence information concerning the correspondence between the identification information characteristic of a timestamp of said packet and the time stored in the preceding step.
