Abstract: By the apparatus of the invention paper bags containing potato chips, pastries or other goods are mechanically packed into outer containers in a manner preventing the crushing or breaking of the contents of the bags and ensuring that the bags are constantly maintained in a fixed array during their passage through the apparatus.
