摘要： Process for producing saccharides by fermentation which comprises culturing a microorganism capable of assimilating hydrocarbons and of producing saccharides under aerobic conditions in an aqueous nutrient medium containing at least one hydrocarbon as the main carbon source and an additive selected from the group consisting of at least one surface active agent, at least one antibiotic and mixtures thereof. The process gives good yields of sugars such as trehalose, glucose, mannose, arabinose, fructose, ribose, their glycosides and polymerized compounds.
