Abstract:
The present invention relates to a laundry dryer that can prevent as well as remove wrinkles of laundry. A laundry dryer has a water supply source configured to be detachable from the laundry machine and a switch to switch a steam generator or a pump off or on when the water supply source is detached or not.
Abstract:
An apparatus for treating clothes and a method for controlling the same, which are capable of controlling or preventing formation of creases on clothes, are disclosed. The disclosed apparatus includes a drum (20), a steam generator (200) to supply steam to the drum (20), a water container (300) to store water to be supplied to the steam generator (200), the water container (300) detachable, a sensor (500) to sense whether the water container (300) is detached or attached, a water supplier (400) to supply the water stored in the water container (300) to the steam generator (200), and a controller to control an operation of the water supplier (400) based on a sensing result of the sensor (500).
Abstract:
A laundry machine and a method of controlling the laundry machine are disclosed. The laundry machine includes a steam generator (300) which generates steam to supply the steam into a drum (130), a water supply line (320) which supplies water into the steam generator (300), a filter (360) installed in the water supply line (320) to filter water, a regenerating unit (382) which regenerates the filter (360), and a controller which controls operations of the steam generator (300) and the regenerating unit (382).
Abstract:
Disclosed is a clothes treating apparatus with a liquid supply unit. The clothes treating apparatus comprises: a body; a drum accommodated in the body; a steam generator communicated with inside of the drum, and configured to inject steam into the drum; a reservoir configured to store liquid to be supplied to the steam generator, and having an outlet at a bottom surface thereof; a closure having a check valve, and configured to close the outlet; and a reservoir accommodation portion configured to temporarily store the liquid discharged through the check valve, and communicated with the steam generator for flow of the liquid, wherein the check valve is configured to be open only when the reservoir has been mounted to the reservoir accommodation portion.
Abstract:
A condensing type dryer uses a heat exchanger in which condensed water can be smoothly discharged through a water-discharging slot formed in a rear end portion of a rear cover of the heat exchanger. The water-discharging slot prevents an air flowing resistance which can be caused by condensed water pooling at the rear end portion of the rear cover. Also, leakage-preventing walls enhance the heat exchanging function by ensuring a uniform flow of cold external air through the heat changer. The leakage-preventing walls prevent external air from leaking around the lateral edges of the heat exchanger.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a laundry machine and a method for controlling the same, wherein the laundry machine includes a steam generator (300) for generating and supplying steam to a drum (130) and a detergent liquid flow passage (340) for providing a passage to supply detergent liquid to an inside of the steam generator (300), thereby permitting easy washing of the steam generator (300) in the laundry machine.
Abstract:
A laundry machine having a steam generator is disclosed. A heater is controlled, such that steam generation coincides with a predetermined time period, whereby the steam supply time is enabled to be controlled with relative accuracy. If an error occurs when water is being supplied to the steam generator, then an error message is displayed such that a user may be informed of the error. If a predetermined time period has elapsed, then a pump is stopped to prevent an excessive amount of water from being supplied to the steam generator.
Abstract:
A dryer having a steam generator having high energy efficiency and incurring a low fabrication cost is disclosed. The dryer includes: a drum rotatably mounted in the interior of a main body and accommodating the laundry; a duct guiding air supplied to the drum; a heater assembly provided within the duct and heating air supplied to the drum; and a steam generator disposed to be adjacent to the heater assembly and generating steam to be supplied to the drum by using heat generated by the heater assembly.
Abstract:
A drum for a clothes dryer in which an internal structure, especially, a baffle structure, of the drum is improved to prevent target items from being entangled and damaged during a drying operation to thereby improve the drying efficiency of the clothes dryer. Rotatable balls are inserted in the baffles mounted on an internal surface of the drum, the mounting arrangement of the baffles is changed, or the baffles are modified to thus improve the drying operation. In addition, an absorbent is filled in the baffles to thus increase the drying efficiency.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to steam dryers, and more specifically, the present invention relates to a steam dryer for removing creases or crumples from, or preventing the same from forming on, clothes. The steam dryer includes a drum (20) to be selectively rotatable; a steam generator (200) to generate steam to be supplied to the drum (20); a water container (300) to contain water to be supplied to the steam generator (200); an indicator to indicate a level of the water in the water container (300) thereby removing creases from clothes effectively.
