Abstract: The present invention comprises a co-processed carbohydrate system, and formulations produced therefrom, which formulations are directly compressible into solid dosage forms, some of which rapidly and completely dissolve or disintegrate in the oral cavity within 60 seconds. The invention also comprises the solid dosage forms produced by directly compressing the co-processed carbohydrate system, some of which, when placed in the oral cavity, shall dissolve or disintegrate, preferably within about 60 seconds.

Abstract: This invention provides a solid pharmaceutical composition comprising an active ingredient (e.g., rasagiline) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and particles having a non-filamentous microstructure of at least two sugar alcohols. This invention also provides a solid pharmaceutical composition comprising an active ingredient (e.g., rasagiline) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, a mixture of a disintegrant, a flow agent and particles having a non-filamentous microstructure of at least two sugar alcohols, a supplemental sugar alcohol, a supplemental flow agent, and a supplemental disintegrant. Finally, this invention provides a process of making such solid pharmaceutical compositions.

Abstract: A dish rating and management (DRM) system is provided that operates as a “closed-loop” system to maintain a database of dishes and associated numeric ratings. A user inputs selection criteria and is presented with dishes and associated ratings. The selection criteria include dish names, ratings, ingredients, and other criteria. The DRM system performs cross-reference dish discovery functions to establish a relationship between branded names and generic names to facilitate dish discovery by the user. Once the user selects a dish, the system processes an order for the selected dish that causes an order to be placed with a food provider that provides the selected dish. After the user has received the selected dish, the system queries the user for a numeric rating for the ordered dish. The database is updated with the numeric dish rating and the system provides a reward to the user for rating the dish.
