    摘要: A printing material supply system includes a printing device and a cartridge. The printing device has a cartridge mounting structure. The cartridge is removably attached to the cartridge mounting structure. The cartridge mounting structure has a device-side terminal, a lever, a first device-side locking element and a second device-side locking element. The device-side terminal is configured to contact with a cartridge-side terminal. The first device-side locking element is configured as part of the lever. The second device-side locking element is configured to engage with a second locking surface of a second cartridge-side locking element. The cartridge-side terminal has a cartridge-side contact portion configured to be in contact with the device-side terminal. The cartridge-side contact portion is provided on the negative Z-axis side of the second locking surface.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a liquid ejecting apparatus including: a movable head provided with a plurality of nozzles for ejecting a liquid; a carry unit for carrying a medium in a predetermined carrying direction; and a sensor for detecting an edge of the medium, the liquid ejecting apparatus controlling ejection of the liquid from the plurality of nozzles in accordance with a result of the detection of the sensor. In this liquid ejecting apparatus, the position, in the carrying direction, of the sensor is at the same position of or on an upstream side of a nozzle located most upstream in the carrying direction, of among the plurality of nozzles. In this way, it is possible to arrange the sensor for detecting the edge of the paper at the most suitable position, and to suppress waste of ink that is ejected from the nozzles.

    摘要: A chain guide improves bending rigidity while satisfying requirements for compactness and weight reduction of an engine and restricting cost increases. The chain guide includes a guide body having an engaging protrusion capable of engaging with a long engaging hole formed in an engine block in a longitudinally slidable manner and a shoe fixed over the guide body and having a chain sliding surface. In this case, an upward support of the engaging protrusion of the guide body in the engaging hole of the engine block results in an increase in the bending rigidity of the whole chain guide. Moreover, the engaging protrusion of the guide body is only inserted into the engaging hole of the engine block. This does not cause an increase in size and weight, and causes only a slight change of a mold, leading to less cost increases.
