    摘要: In a braking apparatus for use in a motor vehicle which supplies hydraulic pressure from a master cylinder to wheel braking cylinders for front-side and rear-side wheels, a braking force adjusting device is provided in common between the master cylinder and the front-side and rear-side wheel braking cylinders to adjust the hydraulic pressure to be applied to the front-side and rear-side wheel cylinders. A proportioning valve controls the hydraulic pressure to the rear-side wheel braking cylinder to become lower than the hydraulic pressure from the braking force adjusting device by a predetermined ratio. The proportioning valve is adapted to change the predetermined ratio in accordance with a control signal to prevent the rear-side wheel from locking. The control signal to the proportioning valve is determined on the basis of information representing an excessive degreee of braking force obtained in accordance with the states of the front-side and rear-side wheels during the braking operation.

    摘要: Construction of a carburetor used in a stratified charge combustion engine, wherein: flow division control means are dispensed with; and a main and an auxiliary discharge valves are made to have the flow division control functions by themselves, that is, air-fuel ratios of mixtures produced in a main air intake passage and an auxiliary air intake passage, respectively, are adapted to be varied in response to the change of the flow rate of intake air into the associated engine by changing the respective flow rate characteristics of the main and auxiliary discharge valves; thereby eliminating the drawback of decreased accuracy in actual operation of a carburetor used in a stratified charge combustion engine having said flow division control means.

    摘要: A variable stage type carburetor provided with a venturi vane which is adapted to vary the venturi area in a venturi portion thereof, commensurate to the opening of a throttle valve. This carburetor features that, in the running condition where the opening of a throttle valve is considerably large and yet the quantity of intake air is relatively less, the venturi vane is forcedly displaced in a direction to be closed so as to increase the venturi negative pressure in the venturi portion, thereby enhancing the injection of fuel.
