The fusing device includes a fusing unit having a heating roller and a pressure roller facing each other and which rotate together, a cover which opens and closes the fusing unit, and a pressure and release unit, one end of which is rotatably fixed to a rotating shaft, the pressure and release unit containing a member having a pressuring unit which pressures the pressure roller towards the heating roller when the cover opens and shuts, and a pressured part, which is farther from the rotating shaft than the pressuring part and which receives pressure from the cover.

The fusing unit disclosed herein includes a heating belt having a non-conductive outer surface and a pressing roller that allows a print medium to be in a pressing contact with the outer surface of the heating belt. At least one of the support roller and the press roller has a concave shape such that a diameter of both ends of the at least one of the support roller and the press roller is larger than a diameter of a middle portion, and the press member is formed with a curved portion which is convexly formed at a middle portion of the at least one of the support roller and the press roller.

摘要： A scanning apparatus includes a stage glass on which a document is loaded, a scanning head which reciprocates between a home position of the stage glass and a finish position opposite to the home position to read the document and generate image data, a position detection part disposed in or on the stage glass along a moving direction of the scanning head, a head position sensing part disposed in the scanning head which senses the position detection part to sense the position of the scanning head when a scanning signal is inputted, and a controlling part to control the scanning head so that the scanning head moves to the home position at a faster speed than a predetermined reference speed if the scanning head is distanced farther from the home position than a predetermined distance. Thus, the scanning apparatus, a driving method therefor and an image forming apparatus having the same control a speed with which a scanning head moves to a home position according to the position of the scanning head.
