摘要： A portable monitoring system for detecting a radiated electrostatic field and producing an audible warning when the detected field exceeds a selected value is characterized by a switching device which can be used to reset the threshold warning level and which is not affected by the hand proximity effect. An alarm is sounded when a signal corresponding to the detected field exceeds a value which is stored. The stored value can be reset by a manually operated switching circuit including a delay device operable to delay the storage of a reference level corresponding to the intensity of the field currently detected.

摘要： An electric field strength indicator for use with high voltage conductors comprises a capacitive probe mounted within a tubular shield having an insulating spacer at one end for locating the unit with respect to a conductor under test. The probe is electrically coupled to a signalling circuit and is movable axially within the shield to a position at which a threshold response is obtained. Such position, which denotes the conductor voltage, is read on a scale provided. Because of the shield the device is directional, the probe being shielded from neighboring conductors.

摘要： A soldering wire dispensing apparatus is provided and comprises a support frame with a motor is mounted therein. A motor axle extends from the motor and rotates upon activation of the motor. A dispenser spool is mounted within the support frame with a predetermined amount of solder wire. A dispensing axle extends from the dispenser spool. A connecting belt links the motor axle to the dispensing axle to rotate the dispensing axle with rotation of the motor axle. A flexible wire nozzle is positioned in and extends from the support frame. An adjustment housing is mounted to the support frame. An upright bar is slidably mounted within the adjustment housing. A lever is connected to the upright bar and extends through the adjustment housing. A connecting wire extends between the second end of the wire nozzle and the upright bar. Upon moving the lever downward, the connecting wire nozzle bends nozzle to a predetermined angle relative to the adjustment housing.

摘要： A viper crescent wrench device for holding a work piece is provided. Upon squeezing a second handle toward a first handle, a first pawl and a second pawl move an adjusting bar toward the first handle thereby moving a second jaw portion toward a first jaw portion. Upon releasing the second handle, the first pawl and the second pawl releasably lock into place and the second handle readjusts relative to the first pawl thereby repositioning to do the same action again when the second handle is squeezed again until the work piece is secured between the first jaw portion and the second jaw portion. Upon rotation of a release mechanism, toothed notches are rotated out of contact with the first pawl and the second pawl such that the second jaw portion moves away from the first jaw portion under bias of a first spring thereby releasing the work piece.
