    摘要: An electron emission display including a first substrate having at least one electron emission device and a second substrate opposite the first substrate. The second substrate is formed with an effective region and a non-effective region. The effective region includes a fluorescent layer for emitting light by collision with electrons emitted from the electron emission device. The non-effective region includes a region in which a light-shielding layer has a transparent conductive layer and a metal layer. The transparent conductive layer is formed in the effective region where the fluorescent layer is absent. The second substrate improves the brightness of light emitted from the fluorescent layer and prevents a power supply layer, to which a high voltage is applied, from being damaged, because the transparent conductive layer is not formed under the effective region.

    摘要: An electron emission display is provided including first and second substrates facing each other. The second substrate has a plurality of pixel regions defined thereon. A plurality of electron emission elements are disposed on the first substrate. A phosphor screen including phosphor and black layers are formed on a surface of the second substrate. An anode electrode formed of metal is located on surfaces of the phosphor and black layers. The anode electrode includes a spaced portion corresponding to the phosphor layers and spaced apart from the phosphor screen, and includes contact portions contacting the phosphor screen, and satisfies the condition 0.05≦B/A≦0.8, where A indicates an area of one of said pixel regions defined on the second substrate and B denotes an area occupied by one of the contact portions in the one of said pixel regions.

    摘要: A process for preparing a black matrix comprising the steps of producing a developed substrate by coating, drying, exposing and developing a photoresist on the inside of a substrate, producing a dried substrate by drying the developed substrate several times, coating a dye on the dried substrate and then drying the board, coating graphite on the dried substrate, and etching the graphite-coated substrate. This method makes it possible to perfectly etch the black matrix dot and increase volatility in fluorescent coating.

    摘要: An electron emission display includes first and second substrates facing each other, a plurality of election emission regions provided on the first substrate, a black layer formed on a first surface of the second substrate between the phosphor layers, and an anode electrode coupled to the phosphor and black layers. The anode electrode has a light transmissivity ranging from about 3% to about 15%. A method of forming the anode electrode includes forming an interlayer on the phosphor and black layer, depositing a conductive material on the second substrate, and removing the interlayer through a firing process.

An electron emission unit is arranged on the first substrate. A light emission unit is provided on the second substrate and has an active area and an inactive area surrounding the active area. An arcing preventing member is formed on the inactive area. The arcing preventing member is formed to satisfy the condition: 0.3≦H/W≦1.0, where W is a width of the active area and H is a height of the arcing preventing member.
