Abstract:
A user terminal generates position information regarding a position of the user terminal, generates target recognition information for recognizing a target, communicates with a counterpart terminal, and determines whether the target recognition information conforms with first reference information. If so, the user terminal transmits the target recognition information and the position information to the counterpart terminal, and if the information does not conform, the terminal determines whether the target recognition information conforms with second reference information. Accordingly, the user terminal easily provides route guidance to a destination.
Abstract:
A method for remotely outputting audio in a display apparatus includes outputting Audio/Visual (AV) data, if a command to remotely output audio is input while the AV data is being output, stopping outputting audio of the AV data while outputting video of the AV data, and transmitting at least one of compressed audio data separated from the AV data and information regarding a time when transmission of the compressed audio data starts to an external apparatus.
Abstract:
A method for performing a cooperative function and a device thereof are provided. It is determined whether another device is in a surrounding area of a device. When it is determined that the other device is in the surrounding area, the cooperative function is performed by the device with the other device according to a location of the other device. Accordingly, the cooperative function may be performed automatically if devices are in adjacent areas without a user's command.
Abstract:
A method of generating interaction activity information including connecting a second apparatus to a first apparatus capable of communicating with each other, receiving first information about a function that is capable of being performed in the first apparatus, from the first apparatus, and generating second information about a function that is used interactively between the first apparatus and the second apparatus, based on the first information.
Abstract:
A vehicle information providing method and a terminal applying the same are provided. The vehicle information providing method includes communicably connecting to a Global Positioning System (GPS) mounted on a vehicle, receiving location information from the GPS and receiving vehicle information from a vehicle information system based on the received location information. Accordingly, the terminal may receive the location information of the vehicle inside the vehicle even though the terminal has no GPS.
Abstract:
A method for managing user schedule and a device using the same are provided. The information stored in an external device is received and added to an existing user schedule. Accordingly, it is possible to integrally manage the user schedules scattered at different locations, and provide improved convenience of using user schedules.
Abstract:
A method of connecting an external device to an apparatus including calculating a time during which the external device is located within a reference range from the apparatus when a distance between the apparatus and the external device is within the reference range, and connecting the apparatus to the external device when the calculated time exceeds a critical value.
Abstract:
A method of sharing a function of a device, the method including detecting at least one device from among a plurality of devices through a first device connected to the plurality of devices through a plurality of networks, wherein the detecting is performed by a second device in the plurality of devices; interworking the second device with a third device in the detected at least one device, through the first device; and using, by the second device, a function of the third device through the first device.
Abstract:
A method of providing a channel list in an image display system includes receiving a signal mapped to a channel list from an external device; displaying a channel list including one or more channels in response to the received signal; selecting a first channel from the channels included in the channel list; and displaying a tuned first screen of the selected first channel and a second screen, wherein additional information about the first channel is displayed in the second screen.
Abstract:
A control device for displaying a menu generated based on the media included in the devices within a home network. The control device includes a media information collection unit which collects information on media that can be processed by devices within a home network, a control unit which generates a task list for tasks that can be performed based on the collected information, and a display unit which displays the generated task list. A user thereby may control the devices within a home network using the menu generated based on the media included in the devices, making it possible to improve convenience to the user.
