摘要： Pharmaceutical formulations are described comprising at least one growth hormone and one or more intranasal delivery-enhancing agents for enhanced nasal mucosal delivery of the growth hormone. In one aspect, the intranasal delivery formulations and methods provide enhanced delivery of growth hormone to the blood plasma, for example, by yielding a peak concentration (Cmax) of the growth hormone in an hepatic portal vein or a blood plasma of the subject that is 20% or greater compared to a peak concentration of the growth hormone in the hepatic portal vein or the blood plasma of the subject following administration to the subject of a same concentration or dose of the growth hormone to the subject by subcutaneous injection. Exemplary formulations and methods within the invention utilize human growth hormone as the hormone.

摘要： A solid dosage form containing a taste masked active agent is provided. The solid dosage form may be provided as a water soluble film that is disintegrable in the oral cavity to deliver and release the taste masked active agent. The disintegrable film includes at least one water soluble polymer and a taste masked ketoprofen active. Also provided are methods for preparing the solid dosage form and for using the solid dosage to administer an effective dosage of an active agent, such as ketoprofen, into the oral cavity for absorption.

摘要： A tablet that rapidly disintegrates in the oral cavity comprising a compressed blend of rapidly dispersing microgranules prepared by granulating a sugar alcohol or a saccharide or a mixture thereof having an average particle size less than about 30 microns and a disintegrant, and a taste-masked microcapsule containing at least one drug, the microcapsule being prepared by granulating a pharmaceutically acceptable formulation comprising at least one drug in a therapeutically effective amount and at least one polymeric binder that improves resilience of the microgranules, wet milling the granulated mass, and microencapsulating the milled granules to provide microcapsules.
