摘要： High molecular weight cis-1,4-polyisoprene is produced by contacting isoprene with a catalyst formed by admixing (A) a titanium tetrachloride, (B) a trihydrocarbylaluminum and (C) a beta-diketone. The activity of this ternary catalyst is not adversely affected by such impurities as cyclopentadiene that are contained in the feed stock isoprene.
