The organic electroluminescent device includes a plurality gate lines and data lines crossly arranged on a substrate for defining red, green and blue sub pixels of a pixel; a non-emitting region formed in each of the sub pixels and including a switching element and a driving element; and an emitting region formed in each of the sub pixels and including a pixel electrode connected to the corresponding driving element, wherein locations of at least two of the non-emitting regions are different from each other with respect to the corresponding sub pixels.

The device includes a pixel cell formed in an area defined by a data line supplied with a data voltage, at least one scan line supplied with a scan signal, a light emission control signal line supplied with a light emission control signal, a driving voltage line supplied with a driving voltage, and a compensation voltage line supplied with a compensation voltage of a first voltage level or a second voltage level different from the first voltage level. The pixel cell includes a light emitting element for emitting light by current, and a pixel circuit for providing current corresponding to the data voltage to the light emitting element using the data voltage, scan signal, light emission control signal, driving voltage and compensation voltage.

    摘要: A flat panel display device (FPD) and fabricating method thereof are disclosed, which reduce the number of masks during fabrication and prevent electrochemical corrosion problems. In the FPD, a cell area and a pad area are defined on a substrate. A storage electrode traverses an active layer in parallel to a gate line. Source and drain regions of the active layer in the vicinity of both sides of a gate electrode are not formed below the storage electrode. An insulating interlayer over the substrate has first and second contact holes on the source and drain regions, respectively. A source electrode contacts the source region via a first contact hole and a drain electrode contacts the drain region via a second contact hole to directly contact a pixel electrode. A protective layer is disposed over the substrate including the pixel electrode.
