摘要: A method for driving printing elements of a dot matrix printer provides that the matrix dots to be printed are to be thinned out without any thin lines, in particular steeply inclined thin lines, being lost. To this end, the columns of the matrix are considered to be arranged next to each other in pairs, and before the matrix dots in each line (Z) of the matrix are thinned out, a matrix dot is placed before or after a matrix dot used initially to create the character, so that both matrix dots belonging to a pair of columns (SP1, SP5) are covered by a line (Z). During the subsequent thinning out, the lines are printed sufficiently well and clearly. The process is intended for use in dot matrix printers.

摘要: The invention relates to a process for driving printing elements of a dot matrix printer in which the matrix dots to be printed are to be thinned out without any thin lines, in particular steeply inclined thin lines, being lost. To this end, before thinning out each matrix dot to be printed is associated with another matrix dot disposed on a nearest neighbor grid point in a certain direction of addition. After thinning out, the respective characters or images are printed sufficiently well and clearly. The process is intended for use in dot matrix printers.

摘要: In a method for electrographic printing of color images on a final image carrier, charge images of images to be printed are generated on a charge image carrier and are developed into toner images with toner, the toner images being transferred onto an intermediate carrier from which they are transfer-printed onto the final image carrier. The charge images for individual colors of the color image are generated in succession on the charge image carrier and are developed into individual color toner images with color toner. The individual color toner images are transferred onto the intermediate carrier and are there collected atop of one another in a color collection cycle to form a complete color toner image. Before transfer printing of the complete color toner image on the final image carrier, the final image carrier is pivoted onto the intermediate carrier, and after the transfer printing, the final image carrier is pivoted away from the intermediate carrier. After transfer printing of the complete color toner image, the color toner images for a next complete color image are transferred from the charge image carrier onto the intermediate carrier after an end of the pivoting of the final image carrier away from the intermediate carrier.

摘要: In a method or device for simultaneous double-sided printing of a recording medium, the first toner image having toner charged with a first polarity is generated on a first transfer belt and a second toner image having toner also charged with the first polarity is generated on a second transfer belt. A charge shifting device is provided along with a recharging device. At least one of the charge shifting device and the recharging device has a corotron. With the charge shifting device, the charge of the first toner image is shifted to a second polarity opposite to the first polarity and with the recharging device the second toner image with the first polarity is recharged. The recording medium is passed between the first and the second transfer belts. An electrical field is generated at a transfer printing region via which the first toner image shifted to the second polarity and the recharged second toner image are separated from the respective first or second transfer belt and are transferred to a side of the recording medium facing the respective transfer belt.

摘要: In order to strip a film-like coating having toner residues, abrasion and paper dust from an intermediate carrier (for example, a photoconductor), a cleaning unit is provided that is planarly executed and bent such that first and second surfaces and a rounded-off bending region arise. The cleaning unit has its first surface arranged parallel to the intermediate carrier such that the coating runs through under the bending region and then between the first surface and the intermediate carrier, so that the toner contained in the coating loosens the coating from the intermediate carrier.

摘要: In a method or system for driving a load element, a drive motor is provided on a drive shaft of the load element that establishes a drive rotation speed of the load element. A rotation torque sensor on the drive shaft emits a load torque signal proportional to a rotation torque. A rotation torque influencing device generates a supplementary torque when the load torque signal deviates from a desired load angle value present when a change has not occurred to a load created by the load element and acting on the drive motor, the supplementary torque being added to a drive torque generated by the drive motor such that a load angle of the drive motor remains substantially constant and uninfluenced by a change of the load.

摘要: A method and apparatus for controlling a lateral position of a band-shaped intermediate image carrier in an electrographic apparatus by regularly detecting a mark on the intermediate image carrier with a sensor. The band-shaped intermediate image carrier is moved in a transport direction from an image generating position at which an image is generated on the image carrier to a transfer position at which the image is transferred. A transverse position of the intermediate image carrier relative to the transport direction is detected and is time correlated with the regular detection of the mark. Intermediate position detections are carried out between the regular detections of the mark in a time-controlled manner. The detected positions are compared to stored position values or calculated theoretical position values and the results of the comparison is used to control position correction devices which change the transverse position of the intermediate image carrier.

摘要: The inventive method reduces the quantity of the actual number of pixels to be printed to attain a given resolution, on average, by half, with each two or pair of adjacent pixels of the original print information being sequentially processed to form a print pixel and a socalled white or unprinted pixel. The arrangement of print pixels and white pixels is effected so as to print a checkerboard pattern. The ink droplets accordingly have the smallest possible substrate or print media contact area so that adjacent ink droplets which are not yet dry are effectively prevented from running together and thereby degrading the resulting image.
