Abstract:
A caller places a telephone call and enters an access code when calling a subscriber. The caller's access code signal is generated by the caller when the caller inputs his or her access code. The call is transmitted over the Public Switched Telephone Network to a subscriber's telephone number. A Call Router Server capable of receiving the caller's telephone call and the caller's access code signal is provided. The Call Router Server detects the caller's access code signal and then directing the caller's telephone call to the subscriber to be completed in a particular manner based upon the caller's access code. An Access Code Server which is Web server is provided that allows a subscriber to input the manner in which incoming telephone calls will be received and completed based upon the access code signal that is received by the Call Router Server. This information is stored on a Database Server, which instructs the Call Router Server on the proper routing pattern of the incoming telephone call.
Abstract:
The ADSI system 100 has a file stored in RAM 202 or ROM 204. The file plays a CAS tone. The CAS tone is disguised by playing one or more introductory tones as frequencies lower than the CAS tone. The user is conditioned to receive a CAS tone by ramping the CAS tone amplitude or increasing the amplitude in discrete steps.
Abstract:
A windscreen wiper blade arrangement comprises a windscreen wiper blade and a connector (11) for connecting the windscreen wiper blade to a windscreen wiper drive arm whereby the blade is driven across a windscreen. The blade is so arranged that the connector (11) is connectable to the windscreen wiper blade in two opposite positions, enabling the blade to be reversed so as to be usable for both left-hand and right-hand drive cars. Indicating means (31,33) are provided on the blade for indicating the type of drive of car for which a particular orientation is intended, the location of the indicating means (31,33) being such that the connector (11) obscures the indication (31 or 33) of the indicating means (31,33) relating to the car for which the orientation is not intended while the indication (33 or 31) for the intended car is visible.
Abstract:
The present invention is an ADSI download system. The system comprises at least one ADSI device, like a screen-display terminal, and one or more remote sites, like computer network site locations, wherein at least one of the remote sites contains ADSI feature files. The ADSI device stores ADSI download feature files in a storage location, receives and stores a downloaded ADSI feature file from the remote site, and uses the ADSI feature. The telephony network connects the ADSI device to the remote site. A network application server connects the remote site comprising of at least one ADSI feature file with the ADSI device. The user of the ADSI device selects the ADSI feature file on the remote site and the ADSI feature file is then retrieved from the remote site and is downloaded into the storage location.
