摘要: A transmitting/receiving circuit (17) holds a communication at a frequency f1 by using an antenna (11a) or an antenna (11b), and a transmitting/receiving circuit (3) holds a communication at a frequency f2 by using an antenna (1). In response to a receiving signal intensity, a switching circuit (14) connects any one of the antennas (11a),(11b) to the transmitting/receiving circuit (17) as a selected antenna for use in communication, and connects the other antenna to a terminating circuit (13) as a non-selected antenna. The terminating circuit (13) connected to the non-selected antenna has an impedance that satisfies a predetermined phase condition at the frequencies f1, f2 respectively, suppresses an inter-antenna coupling between the non-selected antenna and the selected antenna and the antenna (1), and suppresses degradation in antenna characteristic caused due to the inter-antenna coupling between the selected antenna and the antenna (1).

摘要: An antenna apparatus having directivity includes an antenna portion having a power feeding portion, a plate-like first antenna element, and a second antenna element connected to a side of the first antenna element through the power feeding portion, the second antenna element having a width smaller than that of the first antenna element; and a plate-like parasitic element disposed opposite to the antenna portion. The parasitic element has a length that is approximately one-half or more of a wavelength of an operating frequency. The second antenna element has a length that is shorter than one-fourth of the wavelength of the operating frequency. The antenna portion and the parasitic element have a distance capable of being connected electromagnetically to each other.

摘要: A mobile radio apparatus antenna for improving the gain and widening the band is provided. A inverted-L antenna (10) is a feed element with one end thereof electrically connected to one plate surface of a circuit board (12) through a feed point. The circuit board (12) is a circuit board of a mobile radio apparatus, to which the circuit parts including the inverted-L antenna (10) are connected. A planar antenna (14) is provided facing the backside plate surface of the plate surface of the circuit board (12), to which the inverted-L antenna (10) is connected, and is a parasitic element with an electrical length in the length direction set to approximately ½ of the wavelength of radio waves communicated by the mobile radio apparatus. Here, the dimension of the inverted-L antenna (10), the circuit board (12), and the planar antenna (14), and the distance therebetween are adjusted to predetermined values, so as to change the self-impedance of the inverted-L antenna (10), the self-impedance of the planar antenna (14), and the mutual impedance between the inverted-L antenna (10) and the planar antenna (14).
