摘要: A first antenna element 102, a second antenna element 103, and a MEMS (micro-electromechanical system) switch 104 are provided, and a feeding point 110 is provided at one end of the first antenna element 102. The other end 113 of the first antenna element 102 is connected to a first terminal 106 of the MEMS switch 104, and one end 114 of the second antenna element 103 is connected to a second terminal 107 of the MEMS switch 104. The one end of the first antenna element 102 is grounded to a ground pattern 101 via an inductor 115, and a ground terminal 105 of the MEMS switch 104 is connected to the other end 113 of the first antenna element 102.

A low coupling circuit for increasing susceptance with an increase in frequency is interposed between the first antenna element and the second antenna element. The first antenna element and the second antenna element exhibit resonance of a Y12 component of an admittance matrix between first and second frequencies and between second and third frequencies. The first branch element and the third branch element assume a value of nearly a quarter of a resonant electrical length of the Y12 component of the admittance matrix between the first and second frequencies. The second branch element and the fourth branch element assume a value of nearly a quarter of the resonant electrical length of the Y12 component of the admittance matrix between the second and third frequencies.

摘要: There is provided a portable radio capable of facilitating assuring water-tightness of a neighboring area of power feed sections and assuring a stable state of connection between a conductor, such as an antenna, and a circuit board.A portable radio includes an annular resilient member 13 sandwiched between a first case 11 and a second case 12; a flexible printed board 14 that is formed integrally with the annular resilient member 13 and that extends toward an area surrounded by the annular resilient member 13; an antenna section 15 and a first power feed section 19 that are provided on the flexible printed board 14; a circuit board 17 set in the area surrounded by the annular resilient member 13; an electric circuit section 18 provided on the circuit board 17; and a second power feed section 20 electrically connected to the electric circuit section 18. The first power feed section 19 opposes the annular resilient member 13, and an inter-space dimension of an area sandwiched between the flexible printed board 14 and a rib 12b is smaller than a thickness dimension d2 of a part of the annular resilient member 13. that is to be sandwiched in the area, the thickness dimension being achieved under no load conditions, with respect to a direction where the annular resilient member is sandwiched.

摘要: In a folding type portable wireless unit, gain deteriorates sharply upon closure, in the case where an upper case is oscillated directly at the time of opening and used as an antenna in order to attain a wide band and a high gain. The folding type portable wireless unit comprises a first case, a second case, a coupling part for coupling the first and second cases to be opened/closed, a conductor element arranged in the first case, and a power supply element arranged in the second case. In the open state brought by the coupling part, the conductor element and the power supply element approach closely to each other and can be coupled electromagnetically at the time of power supply. In the closed state brought by the coupling part, the conductor element and the power supply element separate from each other as compared with the open state and they are not coupled electromagnetically at the time of power supply.
